Well, This is a spiritual matter and NOT a business policy. If you borrow a loan to finance your Marwa ot Okada business with the aims of generating profits and paying back,, You ain’t stupid,I suppose We don’t have to do God for everything because He has given us a wisdom and it’s how you discern your own life that matters ! |

FalseProphet1: Because your pastors say so doesn’t mean it’s right. That’s business. Assets and equity and all that. Yet Dangote is making a difference and touching lives. U are concerned about his business equity which will take care of itself. Where is religion actually going to lead Africans I just don’t know. 2 Likes |

tempest01:That is the point he's making. Why borrow to buy a car or build a house you want to boast with. Most of our big politicians and supposed Rich men borrow to improve their financial status not an already working business Please note nobody is contributing to finance Living Faith Church, every congregant is investing into the value they are getting. If you have sat down to listen to the teachings of Bishop David Oyedepo, you surely see there's great value and people are not contributing but investing which they fully get their returns back The word here is value. How many of our rich men brings value to the table. Only few 2 Likes |

Dangote is touching lives by selling his value but Bishop David Oyedepo is changing lives by winning souls... Get the difference, you may not understand this until you long for it |

DamnnNiggarr: Not if you are the owner of the currency that all other currencies are benchmarked against. Think about this, the dollars is the main currency that every other currency is benchmarked against. So the value of other currencies is benchmarked against the dollars. If the US prints more currency, it calls it debt, because currency printing is actually not a good way of generating revenue, but does the US ever pay back the currency it prints, No almost never and it doesn't have to, it is his own currency, because your own currency is benchmarked against the dollars even the recklessness of the US will affect you. 1 Like |

He has/is my motivation is kingdom outreach. I have being a very religious Christian seeking for what I can get from God until came in contact with this man and I began to see my greatest work as a born again Christian is winning souls for God and that is our destiny every other thing na jara 2 Likes |

DEMZEE: You are correct, but if your currency happens to be the currency every other currency is benchmarked against, you can actually rig the system, because you have both the knife and the yam, has the US been doing this? Ask yourself. If Nigeria borrows dollars from the US it has to pay back at a certain period but if the US asks his own central bank to simply print more dollars and count it as debt for it, does the US have to pay back, at what interest? Over what period? |

Tonytonex: Wisdom and Righteousness comes from God. When u say wiser are u referring to the wisdom of men? Or God? I rather have wisdom from God and not from men. Oyedepo might be a Father by age but a Baby spiritually. Because He is not obedience to the word of God and as such that has made him to be a baby spiritually. In the sight of God ur age doesn't count. But ur spirit man is what counts. Oyedepo might be ur papa but God knows he has sold his soul to the spirit of Mammon. And I don't need to educate u on that what the Bible say about one loving Mammon and hating God or loving God and hating Mammon for you can't love and serve both. So with the above word choose by urself which one is Oyedepo serving and loving God? Or Mammon? |

Johnboom: Simply because Nigeria's naira is not the benchmark for international trade, at the international level, naira is worthless if not tied to the dollars. But this is not the case with the US, the dollar is the currency for international business. This is where the US become smart, if his revenue is not able to meet up with its expenses, the US will simply ask it's central bank to print more dollars and count it as debt. In actual fact, the US is simply borrowing itself money, but does it ever pay back? At what rate? Over what period? But if Nigeria borrows the same money, Nigeria has to pay back at the rate and tenor decided by the same US. You see the reason why I said the whole monetary system is rigged? 1 Like |

DamnnNiggarr:Brother, the guy you quoted was trying to explain something to you, but you were eager to display your rudimentary economics skills. The US debt is in USD. Their central bank don't function like ours that is why theirs is a reserve bank. The US can print and repay their debts. When the govt buys Tbills from you, at maturity, they can choose to either request for more TBills to pay the matured ones or print more money if there isn't enough cash in the system. That is why they tell you that a government can never default in its debt in its currency....cos it has the power to print notes. 2 Likes |

DamnnNiggarr: Agreed Nigeria can not do so simply because Naira is not the benchmark currency for international trade! What about the US, you think they can't do it? They own the yam and the knife! They can print their currency to do whatever they want to do with it, Afterall every other currency is tied to it! It's a rigged system. 1 Like |

DamnnNiggarr: All these don't apply to the US because unlike other countries of the world, their currency is the global reserve currency. This allows them export their inflation. The debts they owe (including the printing of currency) would not have to be paid by actual resources. This is unlike the debt owed by Nigeria for which the resources of the country (crude oil et Al) must be sold to earn Forex to pay back the loan. 2 Likes |

huptin:that's the hypocrisy among the western countries, and going by your assertion, Nigeria can print more ₦aira to tackle Nigeria's economic mess but I don't think it works that way. If only 20 bags of rice is produced in your location, assuming only only 5 people are able to purchase a bag at say 20k out of 100 persons due to lack of money and the government decides to print more money to be in circulation in the economy, and about 50 person's now have cash, now what will happen is that, more people now have cash and it's still the same 20 bags of rice that is being produced in your location (nothing changed, ie the quantity is being produced) which will lead to high demand for a bag of rice. Do you know what the producers will do? They will respond by doubling the price of a bag of rice. If USA prints more dollars, but still has the same economic output, it will lead to inflation. |
