He booked separately, he submitted at Abuja

tudun:
Congratulations, can you please inquire from him if he booked his appointment together with his children's own on one appointment or he booked their own separately since he is a frequent traveller and they are not.

My uncle got 1year tourist visa this morning together with his 2 kids under short stay. He scheduled 10days trip for Easter and requested for multiple entries. Though he’s a frequent traveler to Schengen countries and his last France visa was 6 month. The children are first time traveler.
So it’s possible to get 1 year tourist visa under short stay.

Note - Nobody is visa officer here and non will claim that. I am here to response comment to questions based on my personal experience, if is your first time French visa application that you got your passport back in 2 days after submission then your case Is PECULIAR. Ensure agent did not apply for you in the past before this time… I’m thinking allowed NO QAMS
Based on my experience
I have applied for French visa 3 times , first application denied and the subsequent 2 was approved .
First application timeline - 2 weeks - denied
2nd t application timeline - 7 days - approved
3rd application timeline - 5 days - approved

So no ves for me I’m saying based on my personal experience and experience from others I know . We no dey quarrel

Bro first time visa application to France is now treated within 2-5working days. This is from experience too.

Okay bro , now I know the reason they denied people visa up and down in recent time . By the time your document leaves VFS to the French embassy they process your documents being the first applicant and return it back to VFS then the the passport delivery to the owner !! all these within 2 day Hmmmm they have employed machine be that
Is alright

Maybe, but which time do they even have to look at the document ? Within 2 days when VFS is just a collection centre they don't process the visa their own is to collect your documents on embassy behalf and forward to them to make their decision after which embassy return it back the VFS and they notify you that your passport is ready for collection.
Maybe finger print gives them all the information they need and no need looking at the document. Lollllll

Not a Visa Officer

However, they Verify document and its easy.

For First timers, if your application holds weight then time would be dedicated to first time verifications. If a loophole is seen during the visa officers vetting then the application goes out faster than it came in so there would be no need for further verifications.

For a Frequent traveller, your previous applications has been verified which makes your subsequent applications an easy one. Except when you have been flagged by one of the schengen Countries.

Hence , first time application would require extra work which most cant afford due to maybe staff shortage etc....

There is the CAC public search.(However they arent as stern with the Active or Inactive as their British counterparts)

The bank statement easily done with the ...... section of the bank.

Etc......

NIce one Boss.

As Uk Does Now by checking CAC on their website, I dont think France do or other Schengen Area cause i remember,
Last time i applied for UK this was the main reason i was denied cause my Company Name was showing Inactive on CAC website, before i repackage and i went ahead and submit my application to France, which i didnt even use upto the documents i submitted to the Uk. and my company was still inactive, but i still get the VISA . So we can never tell how their System works

What Beverlyhill is saying about the CAC is that France isnt as concerned about the Active or Inactive part like the UK.

Based on my first application, they called to verify my Pension statement and the bank called me to ask if i submitted my pension statement to the French Embassy.
Subsequent applications, i just include my Pension Certificate not my statement .

And how can one get a conference iv?

HRprof:

Let me explain based on my experience and we are here to learn . Personal IV alone is not accepted by French embassy the lady need to add what is called ‘’ attestation’’ in French which she will get from local government area where she reside and French embassy will never disclose that to the applicant on refusal letter. You will keep applying with IV alone and keep getting denied.

The only IV acceptable without any other form of additional request is conference IV etc
