To be honest, if I am to suggest what to do to Nigeria.
I will say we share the oil and other natural resources as we used to share now but we need to be divided into north and south Nigeria as north and south Korea dey.
We rarely have anything in common with the north and e dey show everytime.
We have constitution but they practice sharia
They say they want you to build bridges but their Boko Haram are busy killing the southerns over there and pursuing them away.

It's obvious Nigeria can never progreas. God blessed us with crude oil but we still cue at filling stations due to scarcity of fuel despite having 4 malfunctioning refineries. After over 60 years of independence we still lack electricity. The elite prefer we buy generators instead of fixing the power sector. Only a foolish person would believe a politician who is into the importation of generatos would fix the sector when he becomes president. In fact with what I am seeing, there isn't hope. Yes you are right. With the current political, economic and social structure, Nigeria can never work.

However, if Nigeria is restructured and the federating units that make up Nigeria ie the states or geopolitical zones or regions have autonomy over their natural and human resources while paying an agreed tax to the FGN, Nigeria would work.

What do I mean when I say the federating units should have autonomy over their natural and human resources?
Using the geopolitical zones as an example, what I mean is that, the southsouth zone would have control over their oil. the money earned from their oil they can use it to do whatever, they want to do while also paying taxes to the FG, the south south zone would have control over the type of education they want for their people, the type of health care etc.

This also applies to other geopolitical zones.

The same thing happens if we restructure Nigeria using states or regions.
