Dear NL, Here is my story. I got a visit visa last year dec to expire this year june. I’m a final year student of babcock university, i had some research to work on was the reason for my long stay from the 6months visa issued - i stayed for 4 months. I decided to go back to nigeria to do a dependent visa on my wife who just got an unconditional offer for her PG admission (sept intake). Do you think i stand a chance of getting the dependent visa? When i did the visit visa (my marital status was; single) and a student (trip was sponsored by my parent. Although i attached my parents bank statement and also my own bank statement (wch showed evidence of funds available to me, assessable to me) I’m now married to my partner. I know ppls status can change anytime. I intend to show POF for both my wife and myself separately. Tie - Pictures, Chat (Whatsapp - Evidence we’ve been dating for years) - from far back as 2017 till date, Marriage Cert, (Address on Bank Statement) I’ll be done with my program at BU this year, but I’ll like to do the dependent visa just so i can visit my partner anytime in the UK. Please Advice if i stand a chance of getting the dependent visa. 1 Like |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by RodeDindu: 10:30am On Mar 14, 2022 |
Oggg: Define a Forum. You guys will just sit and make unfounded allegations and accusations. You want to cheat a system you don't know how it works and I come to Nairaland to announce it? I got the informations we needed from two UK residents and that has ended it, so keep having a twisted reasoning. If you are a Cheat, there are still people living in this miserable country with Integrity Let me shock you, Agents in Nigeria are still decieving gullible people about this subject matter and I just needed to prove a point to them. A Whatsapp call to UK right in their presence saved them their hard earned money. |

Please house, can someone help me out of this dilemma. I want to apply for Visa in 1st week of May 2022 but I started building my account from Jan 2022. This means that I'd have built the account for only 4months (Jan-April 2022) by the time I want to apply for the Visa. I made a lot of transactions in November and December 2021 on the account, in fact, a lump sum came in and left. Can I use 4months statement of account to apply for Visa? If not, do I stand a chance of getting the Visa if I use 6months statement of account from November 2021 to April 2022? Will i need to explain some inflows and outflows in November and December 2021? |

I have a question, I deferred my admission from Jan 2022 till sept 2022, I'd like to start my visa application process in April/May, however, my TB test expires in May, and my school session starts in september and that means i wont be in UK until much after my TB test expired. If i apply for Visa in April/May before it expires, can i still travel after its expiry? |

OladapoRazaq: Yes you can still travel, as long as your TB certificate is valid when you put your application in then you are fine. |

Wanted to upgrade my mum’s standard visitors visa to priority ( they brought back priority) but can’t go further after adding it to basket. They are asking me pick an appointment date meanwhile I had one booked before now already. Just wanted to add priority only. Has anyone upgraded to priority before? She is yet to do biometric. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Oggg: 11:32pm On Mar 15, 2022 |
Siberry:no more priority applications, they are attending to Ukrainians. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Ray7878: 11:51pm On Mar 15, 2022 |
gfad2001: Contact UKVI via email, you would pay £2.74 and they would notify you if they have reach a decision on your application. No point in tracking this on the TLS tracker. |

I got this message today after I sent a complaint email to UK since January 21, after my wife and kids are wrongly denied with the reason of unknown transfers unto my wife account which is not. But they have re-applied and address the reason why they are worngly denied , to my surprise they denied them again with another reason that she's doesn't have any travel history for past 10yrs back lol . See the complaint email response I got back today [b]DECS Reference: COMP/0242819/22 Thank you for your email correspondence of 21 January. Firstly, I would like to apologise for the delay in replying to your complaint. Our aim is to reply to 95% of correspondence within 20 working days. Where it is not possible to reply within this timescale, we should notify the customer and provide an indication of when a response will be issued. I am sorry that this process was not followed during the handling of your complaint. Unfortunately, I am unable to accept your correspondence as a valid complaint for the following reason. The complaints system is not intended to provide a remedy for those dissatisfied with the actual decision on their visa application. However, I can confirm that in this instance, an Entry Clearance Manager has exceptionally reviewed your case based on the concerns raised in your complaint. They have advised that there are points which have not entirely been given sufficient consideration when the initial assessment took place. On that basis, they have agreed to reconsider your case based on the information you have provided. Your application will now be reconsidered by a different decision maker but please note that a reconsideration does not guarantee a decision in favour of an applicant. You will be contacted directly when the reconsideration is complete. I have closed this enquiry. Any new correspondence received, which falls within our complaint remit, will be logged on our complaints system and we will aim to reply within our 20-working day service standard.
