Good morning everyone.

I've been dating this guy for a while now. He's been into tramadol and smoking for a very long time. Over 15years.

We've been friends before now, until late last year when we started dating. I've been making conscious efforts on helping him stop all these acts.

He has improved on quitting smoking, as he only smokes once in a day or twice.

My issues is the tramadol. He takes about 5 tab everyday. He's physically fit and one could barely tell he has that addiction. He can't do anything like reading, writing an exam if he doesn't take this thing. I've tried to help him the best way I can. Yea, I love him, but I cant afford to raise kids in such environment. I might have to take a bow if this persists, but I really wish and want to help him go through this.

What are the side effects of this drug?

How can I help him with this addiction?

Ahh!! Tramadol!! It has extreme side effects. I'm pretty sure it causes epilepsy.

People that even go to ara or yaba left are they not human being and the funniest thing is they end up being successful.

One of my relatives was a addicted to smoking he went to ara for 6 month now he works on a vessel . the lowest money he sent to me any time i wine him and ask for money na 30k . he will just tell me manage it but dont use my money drink oh lol..

My sister hold that man tight and change is life if that is the only issues he as addiction can be chased away he as to pick one you or the addiction

I'm trying not to make him feel bad about it. I know he wants to stop, but he feels he can't.
I'm just tired of this. If I threaten him, he might start trying to hide it more. I don't want to feel he has changed whereas he hasn't

Stopping the addition is not easy especially Tramadol.if he don’t take it aday he won’t have strength to do anything,to sleep sef will be difficult for him
I have cousin brothers that take tramadol and I can tell you how weak they always feel if they haven’t taken the drug

I understand how you feel but you have to keep trying let him he should stop the tramadole it can lead to strock in the future . make him realise you love everything about him but not drugs . You need to find time and sit him down for an hour and telling him to change it you walk away it is a risk then take it

I wonder how guys and girls use this shiit for libido enhancement.

The one time I used it as a pain reliever...I slept off like a new born baby. My dick no even rise at all. Same with NESCAFÉ that makes people stay up all night reading, I almost failed PHY 101 due to this. For 9am exam, I woke up by 8:30am after taking NESCAFÉ the previous night and ran to exam without bathing or brushing my teeth. I didn't revise or read for that exam.

Try and go through rehabilitation with him.

When he graduates to opiods, crack coke, meth & co. don't say you didn't see the signs though

A rehab is where he needs to go to. You do not have the skillset required to help an addiction recovery.

Find a way and discourage him from abusing drugs or quit the relationship
