Jesus discouraged polygamy by selecting no polygamist in his choice of Apostles, even his disciples were shocked to the extent that they say "going by what you're saying, it's not advisable to marry at all" Matthew 19:10

Do you think such thoughts can come from a polygamist who already has many wives? smiley

Moses married the first wife and then the second one. The first was never said to be dead when he married the second.
Which the verses in the Bible that says the first wife died before he married the second?

Jesus is the WORD, from Genesis to Revelation centered on him so if he forbids polygamy with his thoughts, words and actions then it's forbidden to Christians.
Before he became Christ he was a carpenter who taught nothing but focused on his carpentry work just as Moses taught nobody anything until God called him.
So whatever we can discern from Jesus' teachings after he became the Christ is binding on all those claiming CHRISTIANS! smiley

Jesus didn't forbid marriage rather he advised his disciples that it will be easier for them if they're not married during the end time because marriage will make the journey to Paradise more difficult for many. So from his opinion it's better to get to Paradise and marry when there will be nothing like hardship that can cripple your marriage.
