Well I don't know about the modem being faulty but I know that the driver is installed.
I will test it with different system to confirm whether it's faulty or not.
I appreciate your response though.

uninstall the former driver first, and insert the modem back, it will automatically install the driver back, your system should detect the modem and connect now.

Hi guys,my laptop crashed so I decided to install another is on the windows 8 on it,took it to a repairer he told me the hard drive is dead and gone ,have been noticing the some issues with the drive already,so pls I can't afford a new hard drive,who had a 320-500 internal hard disk drive for sale urgently with a running OS maybe 8 or 10?

There is this Sony laptop with me, if I on it, it will start booting but when it get to a particular stage, it will start showing multiple plain colors on the screen and after that stable at one plain color like green and if I try to off it by pressing the power button, it won't off until I remove the battery. So if I remove the back and put it back and on it immediately... The fan will just be working, It won't show anything on the screen. Till I leave it for some times and restart it.... It will now still repeat the same thing it did earlier

I tried changing the HDD thinking that is it problem but it doesn't stop

Replace the keyboard it is bad.

Back light issues are either caused by faulty screen, faulty signal cable or faulty motherboard. Call or whatsapp 08187469738 for further assistance.

Open the frame, disconnect the camera , then click on it on your laptop and see.

If it doesn't restart the it'd obvious that camera is bad and need replacement.
