jbow: @VANGUARDNewspaper, the official @IPOB @ESN & @UGM mouthpiece has done it again. You just knew that they’d come up with such rubbish as this in order to try to destroy the unity of Yorubaland, in pursuit of their BIAFRA agenda. VANGUARD NEWSPAPER LACKS CREDIBILITY AND IS TOTALLY SHAMELESS. 2 Likes 1 Share |

jbow:Thats politics, if I support you ambition, when it's my turn you should support me. It's a game of interest. Some years back the news people went to Gen Abdul Kareem adisa, to those who know him. They asked him why he likes give top federal contracts to his friends, he replied " when it's your turn give it to your enemies" |

Ugonna62: ….just read the rubbish you have written. Like I said you need to go back to school before you can consider yourself fit to discuss in an enlightened forum. If you cannot even read and write correctly then is it any wonder that your reasoning is also skewed and illogical. Get yourself a dictionary and check these words before you dare come back: eventhou; not be allow; to deceiv…… Bloody illiterate trying to educate people! 1 Like 1 Share |

who in yorubaland has the resources to slug it out with atikU? what the obas should have done is to ask tinubu to let osinbajo go so yourubas may not lose the power struggle, but if yorubas are to get the power, tinubu remains a potent chance. if tinubu is not ready to back osinbajo, new options should be presented to him eg akinwunmi adesina. what the north did with buhari was to first gain the power and they use the popularity of Buhari to gain powerand then pushg buhari aside to run the government. gaining the power first should be yoruba's priority who in yoruba politics has a cult like large followership and at the same time has the money? the billionaires in nigeria can help this country by pooling 100billion naira to back the candidature of a revolutionary minded green horn. lets face the fact.tinubu is street smart and can play politics and osinbajo is too theoretical and lack boldness and his morals too must be in doubt having largely assisted tinubu to achieve most of the wealth he allegedly corner while governor of lagos state.now that independency candidacy is allowed ,let osinbajo avails himself of this to test his poularity.we will be glad if he wins. |

hopeforcharles: You guys need to know that young president will end up putting this country into fire. Youths should work hard and join politics, get elected from lower positions to higher and learn how to govern by rising through the ranks. Tinubu and other old class all rose through the ranks but today we are here campaigning for lazy youths who can't fight for their future. There is differing between private sector experience and public sector experience, likewise being intellectually sound in academics is entirely different from being capacitative in public office positions. Almost 80% of our Governors from 1999-2011 were between 35-50yrs old and we had the worst Governors within those periods. There is no way we will elect a young man with no public office experience and end up learning how to govern for 8yrs. Leadership isn't about age but competence. 2 Likes |

Ugonna62: eventhou; not be allow; to deciev……these are not abbreviations but evidence of your inability to write correct English! Good thing you’ve admitted that you’re not a teacher…otherwise the fate of those poor kids would be catastrophic! You ask what I do for a living….suffice it to say that I can buy up the entire educational institution in Abuja which you’re so proud of and also pay your own salary into the bargain. In fact, I can do that thrice over without breaking any sweat. So, don’t just come to Nairaland and think the place is populated by illiterates like you! |
Re: 2023: Yoruba Obas Are Wrong To Unite Too Hastily Behind Tinubu - Vanguard by King44(m): 12:34pm On Mar 17, 2022 |
Those obas who claimed no other aspirants could receive their blessing are thieves, just like the aspirant himself. In Yoruba land, support is given to all candidates, and in the end, they say let the best candidate win. When you see an oba acting differently from that, such Oba is a useless Oba and not worthy to be called a king. |

Dsalvo: What's my problem with Igbos and Igbos? . I bash them too. I mean, they think too highly of themselves. I won't vote an Igbo man. That being said, we will frustrate Tinubu. Youths have already been mobilized for an anti-Tinubu movement. I'm glad Buhari is on our side too. We will force the idiot to run back to ACN or join SDP |

Stupid write up.. why are they wrong..? Tinubu is not just in politics .. he has been there for this people all along when they didn't know he would need their support for a matter like this .. All those who are seeking for position should be daring enough to declare if they are qualified to do so.. |
