Please house, I need an answer to this question.

I have worked as an assistant lecturer in Mechanical Engineering department of a university. I have also worked in a factory as a Mechanical Engineer.

Do these two jobs fall under the same NOC? Can I accumulate the experiences in both?

Not under the same NOC…lecturer will have its own and mech eng. too. The Job descriptions are totally different…Yes you can use both work experiences as long as you have a minimum of 1yr continuous experience for one of them and they falls under Noc 0, A or B

Hello House,

New Brunswick is considering application for nomination to applicants from specific NOCs. Please see link below and check if it applies to your NOC. You can give it a shot if interested..

Thanks for the information.

Hello house,

I did a one year Cambridge Advanced level certificate program offered by a university for direct entry after my secondary school and then proceeded for a 5 years Bachelor’s program.

Will Wes evaluate both and will I be eligible for two or more degree category while filling out my express entry profile?

Thanks in advance

Dear friends, please I need advice and guidance. I have a relative (sister) in Manitoba Canada. Her husband and one of their friends assisted in creating a profile for me on IRCC where I had a CRS score of 391. They also created a profile for me on MPMP. All these were done in November 2021. My worry is that am I not supposed to have an assessment score on the MPNP platform against which I can benchmark when there's a draw in Manitoba?
Please advice me as I am a novice in this.

Thanks.

*STUDY the posts on page 1 and the associated IRCC links.
*STUDY the Manitoba PNP site and see what you need to do to get a nomination
*Create your express entry profile and Manitoba EOI YOURSELF
* Know your MPNP score and check their draw site for updates.

Just to add that there is a one year cap on Pre-PR temporary residence. Meaning, you do not get residency time of 2 years for temporary residence of 4 years to help with citizenship application. The max is one years no matter how long you have stayed as a temporary resident before PR.

Thanks for this...they have done well already, that one year is 30%......not bad at all.

Second medical exam (IOM Abuja) - 08/03/22
Second MEP - 12/03/22
Review of additional documents changes to 'Not applicable' - 16/03/22
IOM called to inform me that medicals has been sent to IRCC - 17/03/22
Passport request letter - 17/03/22

Grateful to all the amazing helpful folks on this thread (and previous ones). Wishing everyone else speedy ITAs, PPRs & COPRs.

Is it normal for my profile checklist (background, eligibility etc) to remain unchanged after the passport request letter has been sent?

For those who want information about VFS CAIRO

Gather all documents required by IRCC and VFS Cairo:

The package must contain per applicant:
1. Your original International Passport
2. The printed Passport Submission Letter (also known as Passport Request Letter).
3. All the documents requested in the Passport Request Letter.
4. VFS Consent Form – signed and duly completed (fill page 2 and the upper part of page 3)
5. Proof of payment for Service Package Transmission (13.17CAD or 161EGP per applicant). Please add a little buffer as they usually ask applicants to make extra payments. So you can decide to pay 14USD or 170EGP. Make payment/transfer to:
o Bank Account name – Al Etimad Modern
o Bank name– CIB
o EGP Account No.: 100017188768
o USD Account No.: 100017188838
o Swift Code: CIBEEGCX018
• EGP IBAN: EG040010001800000100017188768
• USD IBAN: EG540010001800000100017188838
PS: It is better to pay in EGP than USD, payment confirmation is faster this way since it’s their local currency.

6. International Passport (PA, Spouse and Kids)
7. 2 Passport Photographs each according to IRCC specifications.
8. Completed Height and Eye Colour Chart [already attached to the passport request letter]
9. IMM008 if there’s been a change in family composition [see download section below for download link]
10. 2 photocopies of biodata pages of every family member’s International Passport.

Put all documents in an envelope and proceed to DHL or any courier of your choice and pay for a two-way delivery to:
Canada Visa Application Centre
44, Office #G, 2nd Floor,
Giza Residence Tower,
In front of state council Dokki
Giza, Egypt

Please feel free to get in touch with VFS Cairo in case of further information on your Canada Visa Application. You may choose to contact them via email on info.caneg@vfshelpline.com and they will get back to you within two (2) business days.

You may call the Canada Visa Information Help line on: +20233323002 between 8.30am – 5pm Sundays to Wednesday, except declared holidays or chat with an agent by visiting their website: https://visa.vfsglobal.com/egy/en/can/contact-us#

*IMPORTANT NOTE
1. You can ask someone in Egypt to make payments on your behalf or use wire transfer.
2. VFS Cairo does not do return courier to Nigeria so you have to discuss with a courier service here in Nigeria about the return i.e. 2-way courier
3. You can send all your passports (your dependent + yours) in 1 package.
4. According to the agent, processing and stamping of visa takes 7-10 calendar days after they receive your documents

COURIER SERVICE

You can use any courier service of your choice. Please use DHL,
That was the mistake i did, i used Fedex and it cost me 60k more and time.
A friend help me pay for my transmission fee from canada

Please, I need a little clarification. Do I need to complete the top part of Page 3 of the CVAC form if I’m using a courier service?
