Na so Nigeria tight with information? No one has any leak/rumor about earnings, dividends or M&A? Even for America, leaks/rumors happen in advance, but for this country everybody/everywhere just dey on code!!

Leaks/Rumors is part of the world market but based on my 3 years of observation so far, leaks/rumors almost never happen on the NSE.

Nothing is known until that person in charge of uploads on NGX website shows up to work lol.

For the fact that you didn't hear doesn't mean there is no rumors/leaks.

If you meet the right person/persons you will get more than enough.

There is really no secret under the sun.

Maybe it is, maybe it’s not, I don’t know.

What I do know is this, companies have leaked their own financials when they weren’t supposed to. I saw Intel do it like a year ago via twitter. Google’s acquisition of Fitbit leaked weeks, if not months in advance. These are just the ones I remember but these things happen frequently on wall street.

Forget kiyosaki. I have been following him on facebook for a very long time now, all his predictions have not come to pass so far.

Pls look elsewhere for your long term goal for now.
We have quite a lot of stocks with data and FA to back them up already.

I need your help to get an understanding of something here.

Buacement for some times now always close the day with average of N64. But by next trading day, instead of starting from N64, it goes back to N70.75 and starts trading down again. then next day, it goes back and start from N70.75.

Why is this so please? i wan learn

For the price of any stock to move downward or upward, there must be a single block of 100,000 units bought or sold. If not, it will close on the same price it closed trading the previous day.

Last minute buying... I would wait, buy bottom around April or later and gain from the appreciation in price down d line which if I am right will cover forfeited dividend yield and more. I see UBA losing up some.

The beating ACCESS is receiving is not right o. The result is good. Though the declared dividend is poor compared to the money they made, it shouldn’t have led to this kind of beating. ACCESS is stingy in dividend payment. Their strategy has always being aggressive expansion and growth. I guess that is why they don’t pay good dividend to shareholders. I am not selling my stake. No shaking. Let me gather money to buy more.

My brother its peace of mind that comes from good dividend that i need after holding a stock for long. I did same on wapco selling to buy UCAP and now I dont regret it as i expect some good dividends next week from UCAP, 100% of what wapco offered.
I wwill definitely return to access, it holds huge potentials, but they are stingy. UBA will pay 7th April(less than 3weeks time) no one knows when access will pay

You got answer already.......
Just wanted to emphasize on it......

** There are rules and regulations guiding conducts, transactions, pricing, etc.....on NSE, and these are contained in their Rulebook.
** In the pricing category, there were rules guiding movement of prices up and down........
** Prior to 2019, stocks in 3 different categories had different "bulk Qty" that can move the price.......
**...But in 2019, there were amendments to the rule........and all stocks, irrespective of being in Category A, B or C have "Par/Uniform Volume that can move the price.........Which was pegged at 100,000 single unit.
**Also, a daily limit of +/-10% up or down movement of share price was established.
**So, once market is in session, until you see bulk sales or purchases of 100k units or more, the price wouldn't officially fall or rise.

Think I understood the perspective you're coming from.
Think this should be ......or should I say, was once part of the perks on this thread.
Of a truth there's 'dearth' of information here these days.
Some are privy to, but will not share for reason(s) best known to them.
Some have shared and got insulted in the process.........thus stopped sharing.
Those that used to post results have gone on sabbatical and no much analysis again........ @intendy self don go awol. tongue
