They collected her phone and withdrew her money and she say she doesn't have Driver details. She had access to phone to tweet but couldn't login to her Bolt App to check Rider details and report to Bolt. Even her mail sef will carry details of Driver in the receipt sent to her. Very made up story. 2 other girls too came up to say same thing happened to them before but they all didn't report or complain since.

She hasn't tweeted anything else since she made that story up. Bolt is the fall guy. Some are using bolt to create content, just to trend on Twitter and gain followers.

I really don't like getting involved in arguments, but Mr Pearl, I deduct feeding from the money, cos I feed from the money. I take breaks to eat and I take from the money. I deduct feeding, fuel, card(calls) bolt/govt charges, and all other expenses incurred while doing the job. The remaining is my profit.

I'm not also disputing the fact that you can make 10k daily after all deductions. But it's not everyday. Some days are bad days.....like getting apprehended by police or lastma, and other car issues! In all baba, the hustle no really pay well for now.

No arguments! My opinion!

No mind the guy, he will always do everything to convince you the job is paying well.
In fact as an Uber driver you're better than many people including those in Yankee.
Anyways he must protect his investments.

I like the yardstick u used but u forgot to deduct feedings let say 2k. So ur net will be 8k not 10 provided all things went normal.

There's a difference between gross earning, net earning, and savings.

If you want to deduct every expenses incurred while driving, what you have left is savings and not net earnings.

Net earning is simply gross earning less fuel and commission.

She stopped tweeting when she discovered she will be exposed. But congrats to her, mission accomplished she don trend already.
Some people don't want to call her out outrightly as a liar cos for naija anything is possible. But we know she is lying on this one.
Even though all these people wey dey sell and buy Bolt accounts can do it, but my take is for her to not report this atrocity then she is definitely lying and making it up.

Back to Base... Boss leave what I wrote regarding being at home, you don't know what I am doing, let the story be that.

When you say go and sleep and try to talk down on why I can't break through, is that a hug? Ohk! When next you are havin a chat with a soldier, tell him to go an sleep.

There's nothing to argue about, I am just flowing with reality here and trying to let the new ones be on guide. Seriously, you deh fall my hand, I would have say they should promote you to kindergarten, but that will be harsh of me. Net is total profit after expenses has been deducted from gross profit. Normally we don't use to include cost of fuelling here, all we care about is what you get after commission. Since you want to sound smart, let me be your guest. Since when did you start using 4k gas to gross 20k? Tot we use 3k gas to gross 18k and inbetween, is the 4k with or without surge?

Now back to basic elementary, 20k gross, 25% commission you never agree Bolt is takin and 4k gas, how did you arrive at 10k or you meant to say 5k for gas? If yes! When did you start using 5k gas to make 20k. Do this maths again and state actual figures, nothing like nearly in mathematics. Do you even add other expenses like days you have to spend more than you bargain for as expenses? Or you want to deny they are days we don't have to spend unwarranted 2k, 3k week in, week out on car?

On the flip side... please, how many driver's out there grossed 20k on Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday this week? 5 witness please. Let's be honest with ourselves.

Now if you are driving on Bolt with surge and you have to gross 20k daily? Damn! I know how many trips you will have to complete to get that. Bros, I'll advice you to rest small.

Pope...I don rest. Can't deal mehn.
This is what I said that is causing all these sermon and whirlwind

Drivers mouth don wide thats why they are complaining.
If minimum 10k Net a day is okay for u then I guess u can say it's still profitable.
But like someone advised, start doing it part time (after work and weekends) first and test and see if it's something u can do full time before u resign ur job.
and I still stand by it.

That's fine, it just means that if u still Net 10k after all these deductions then u target even higher than 20k Gross, which confirms my stands. Thank you for that.

Why I will never understand humans is we always fail to appreciate/recognize good things. U correctly pointed out "but not everyday cos there are bad days" why did u fail to add that there are also good days that u can make as much as 15k or 20k after commission and fuel has been deducted?
Am not arguing and don't expect any response, but let's all just think of what I have said and let's be true with ourselves.

When some people claim it's not possible to make an average 10k daily then I ask how do u guys think drivers on rental or HP do these things. Drivers on rental pay minimum 25k a week and drivers on HP pay as much as 40k weekly. Do u think they have another business they do that provides for these payments. Nobody can work 7days a week consistently so let's assume they work max 6days a week.
Are you trying to say a driver will work 6days and will carry all d profit and give to owner of car without having anything left for himself ?
And when such statements are made very few people on this thread try to correct that fallacy, it makes me think that maybe majority of the guys on this thread are not full time drivers on Uber/Bolt, Or don't want to be truthful. Am not saying that its bad not to be a full-time driver but it just means that u aren't well rounded to contribute to some discussions.
I know some of us are owner-partners and partner-drivers that don't take d work very very serious again so let's atleast find out from our drivers what d reality is before we speak in public.
What's the reality of fulltime serious drivers? Ur reality cannot change d fact because your SOP is not general standard. If u personalize your statement, it is totally fine. Not when u work cumulative of 6 hours in a day and u expect that ur experience will be d generality. Mbanu. nainata.. Iro... bamana

Don't mimd them... Even dru self can't tell me to my face that some shuck of his profit on his oil business is not going into repairs of his ehailing cars some times.

Every business person in Nigeria is struggling to keep their business alive. Only a few are making profit.

How possible is a man with 4kids be able to buy a car worth 2.5m from renting when he has school fees, house rent, clothing, feeding, bills and others things to pay... Yet still able to save 2.5m to buy a car... To me that man is foolish to have drop dru's car and be driving his own where he got the money from.

Even me with less responsibility didn't buy my car from proceed of ehailing... Only a few people will disclose how they did it.

Bro I wish you all tye best but if you ask me I'd advise you save up to buy your own car... Do some hustle along with your business and save up cash... With 700-800/900k you'll get either Kia, civic or any other car you can use for yourself then build up from there to buy a tok that's if you still want to keep driving. Renting car in this present economy now is not profitable at all especially now that all car owners are demanding 30-35k oer week... Or do you believe that guy that said his driver was able to buy a car driving with him for just 6months? Bro don't believe everything you hear people say oh.

Yes, boss. I've put all things in consideration. I am opting for rental, yeah, I know all what you said up there are true, but going for rental doesn't even hinder anything. I am a responsible dude and I know what and what is needed to progress.
I will appreciate the rental offer for now and I promise the person giving me a car for rental won't regret he/she did.
With the rental, my business will always be by escort. It will definitely help me business, too.
I'm ready to take any offer and present myself.
I appreciate you advice, sir.
I'm available to take a rental ooh. I'm very much available, sir.
