We bought Amazon fire stick and we pay 10800 monthly for unlimited streaming. Dstv has been calling us since with offers just to make us subscribe. We watch all the latest shows and the internet is great! 10800 for everything.”

Only few smart TV uses android as OS.
I know LG uses WebOS and Hisense uses Vidaa, and few uses Apple OS

The thing is, what you may be able to download on Android platform, you may not be able to download them on other Operating systems.

Plus android system is enormously rich in terms of Apps and you can also side-step the platform with APK's by downloading from unknown sources. ....Just uncheck the download "allow from unknown source

I tried All these pirate online streaming and changed to a fiber optic internet connection so I could scrap DStv but once the race commences, I noticed it began to freeze so I ran back to DStv.
Anyway, since I have premium, I could rent you a slot on my DStv now app which will allow you watch Premium on your mobile device or smart tv! You’d need to have data though

That compact package will no longer be 7900 but 9k.

I've been using this since 2018. I observed we always adopt new technology very late in Nigeria. IPTV has been in existence for over 10yrs now.

All you need is a stable and cheap internet service. I use GLO from my phone to connect the box via WiFi because it's cheap. And the good thing is, I also downloaded all the IPTV's I like on my phone and the box.

So even when I'm not at home, I can still watch anything I want right from my phone. No down-time with IPTV unlike DSTV that if there's no light, I cannot watch. With IPTV, I will just continue whatever I'm watching from my phone whenever Nepa takes light.

What more...there's no end to channels that you can access from IPTV because you can easily see everything from all over the world.

Movies....my favorites. While DSTV is showing you some 1980 movies, you can get movies as current as that released 6hours ago on IPTV.

OMG.... Cartoons! If you have kids, just know that you would need 2TVs, and 2Android boxes because the qualities and amount of cartoon channels available to them on IPTV, they ain't gonna drop the remote for you.

News Channels....You go dey current as far as knowing what's happening in Nicaragua or Solomon Island.

Adult Contents....hmm hmm, you think what I'm thinking....live viewing and direct chat with those models.... "I love Camilla. You can tell her to touch this or that, show you her stuffs...but hey! those adult channels aren't free. You subs for them and they will send you codes for viewing.

That time will surely come when many more people will realise that their beloved DStv is simply "expensive nonsense." The world has since adopted cord-cutting measures thereby relegating cable into the abyss of history.

I also use an ISP similar to the one you alluded to and have been with them since 2016 when I dumped Dstv and NEVER looked back. Imagine having to enjoy your internet/TV needs for much less than it costs to get the Premium bouquet on Dstv and you're awesomely spoiled for choice. Its simply bliss!
