Igbofam:first, $50m is a lot of money to Americans even the wealthiest in america don't have it. Secondly, $50m will execute x5 what it will execute in America in China. That's why the world depends on China. China depends on export, but their exports don't have alternative. Sanctioning them will hurt the sanctionee more than it hurt China. And China will still have exports to all the developed world as nobody can stop that except they want to destroy the world. Just think |

Sltp: You should be ashamed of your ignorance, there is no such thing as a sanction proof economy in the world, not even America’s the greatest and strongest economy in recent human history is sanction proof! The basic laws of economics is predicated on the principle of supply and demand! No country is self sufficient to exclude itself from international trade! Once exchange of goods and services with an external economy is inevitable economic subsistence in isolation becomes an impossible myth! The Trade wars between China and US during the greater part of Trumps Administration is an evidence of the ignorance of your submission, the Chinese economy shrank and projected growth had to be revised as a result of the impact of Tariffs imposed both ways by both economies in tit for tat economic reprisals! Who makes the semi conductor chips most technological innovations are based on? Intels a Us company is the largest producer which Huawei the leader in 5G technology has to rely on, yet who is the larger producer of the natural minerals from which semi conductor chips are made? China! Who is one of the largest supplier of soy or soyabeans to China which happens to have the highest population of pigs in the world as bacon is a staple there? U.S.A The U.S Is the highest trading partner of China as China is America’s, any attempt at sanctions or trade tariffs either ways will have ripple effect on both economies as the trade receipts between them is a significant part of their GDP! American Economy is innovative and technology inclined while the Chinese is a manufacturing economy! Apple needs the factories in China to run because its manufacturing and supply chain is heavily invested in China! American companies have invested billion dollars in manufacture and supply chain technology in China, a pull out or roll back on investment of which will have a ripple effect on the Chinese economy and the ordinary consumer in America! There is no such thing as a sanction proof economy as the statement is against every logic of economic science 13 Likes 3 Shares |

Bellerophon:just shut up!!! I know all this. Services provided by China is presently indispensable. Any country that dare to dump they will be hurt much more than China. It will take several decades to turn the tide. China is not Russia with dispensable services. Even the sanction on Russia with it's very small economy is shaking the world. Sltp: You are talking offpoint. In the business world $50m for a capital partner or funder is nothing. I am not talking about money meant for individuals but money in the hands of business entities. The Chinese know that they need the USA like the air they breathe which is why once any US business announces an EB5 visa program tied to a business, the Chinese rush it because that is how they can have a footing in the US. I know too much about this to have you trying to argue with me. I am an international business broker. The USA will slow down the globalization of the world with its cunny actions . The world could be one and united with an easy way of transferring knowledge and civilization but with the body language of the USA and the cunny steps it takes that won't be possible anytime from now as everyone is skeptical of their actions. They are just like the Roman empire taking the bounty back to Rome. Secondly all countries need one another rich or poor , just like the poor man needs the rich and vice versa . |

Sltp: US economy is 25% of the World's GDP, if you share the world's GDP into 4 parts, the US(one country) takes one full part while the rest of the world(over 150 countries) shares the other 3 parts......dedollarization like you put it sounds very cool on paper but it's definitely not a walk in the park in reality It's extremely difficult to thrive in world trade without trading directly or indirectly with the US and China knows it so is the rest of the world Like I said earlier, it's called INTERDEPENDENCE. you can't just jettison the dollar cos of your animosity with the US without considerably hurting your economy.....so it's not as easy as you say it bro 3 Likes 1 Share |

Sltp: Another piece of misinformation, the world doesn’t depend on China, what looks like the manufacturing might of China actually is fueled by capitalist greed and the rapacious proclivity of western companies and industries to maximize profit even if it means engaging in unethical economic practices like the use of forced and underaged labor at very minimum costs compared to the cost of employing such expertise or service in their original countries, all of which China with its abundant population and Draconian or authorities political System with no accountability provided as a natural alternative to greedy western business! In the course of outsourcing manufacturing for the unethical purpose of cheap labor, an inevitable cost had to be paid, which was the inevitable transfer of the manufacturing technology, this was to the advantage of the very resourceful Chinese who were quick enough to replicate and improvise on these technologies reducing a reliance on western companies for innovation and thus giving them more economic leverage! The exponential rise of China in the last half of the last century and particularly the last two decades is only a testament to the dangers of capitalism and the need for more government intervention in the control of the factors of production! The west outsourced their manufacturing capacity and technology to China in return for an abundance of cheap labor, now China has caught up and rightly is a peer or competitor but not with the larger than life economic influence that you project as the US Economy still has a larger than life image looming even over the Chinese economy little wonder Chinese elites will rather send their children to IVY COLLEGES in the USA Than pay tuition for Chinese colleges! 5 Likes |
