I just found out that Ghanaian coach addo
Iwas a former assistant coach of Hamburg and borrusia Dortmund, now teaming up with Chris hughton to try to secure Ghana's ticket to the world cup. Somehow, I feel this match will be decided more by the tactical experience of the coaching crew than on the talents on the pitch.

But I which clueless eguavaon good luck

Your list is superior to eguavon's list, though I wonder where nwakueme's name is absent

I forgot about Nwakwame but he is 32. S.E has younger wingers..
I will include his name...

The problem is reducing the list to 23 players.

Anyone who is still holding hopes for Olise, please stop wasting your time.

In 2019, before he became the star he is currently, he made a post celebrating Mahrez’s free kick goal against us, saying
A lot of these English-Nigerians usually don't care much about representing Nigeria.
Other English players with dual nationality in worse footballing countries don't seem to have any issues committing with the said countries.

2 other players are also 2 assist each

Reason I don’t like why some peeps criticize the players

Everyday no be Xmas ,the last 2 games have been superb

Politano and Insigne, I think Politano also has one assist in the Europa league

I don't know why you're getting emotional already. You should stop arguing without comprehending the main fact.
What is wrong in pointing out the team's weakness?

Safarigirl just wants to see Okoye in that post on the weekend, anything you are talking is your concern grin

If Ghana were the ones to parade oshimen lookman Dennis Chukwueze free-scoring ighalo..I'm sure that guy's here would have start peeing on their body.... Just because of a standby onazi people have already given the game to the ghanaians.. okoye blah blah blah...abg make una getout..you all plastic fans (to the pessimist)

Croatia that reached last finals don't have more talents man to man than this Senegal side. Imagine Mandzukic, the European Choupo-Moting, leading their line. Senegal have a world class GK, a world class CB, a world class CM and a world class WF. The rest of the squad isn't bad either. They have the right blend of physicality and technicality in their players. All they need is a solid coach with tactical prowess and they can go far.

You are calling mandzukic European chipo moting ? What a disrespect for mandzukic

Mandzukic is far far far far far better than that average player call chipo moting ,abeg ni go talk this thing got outside

I'm not totally sold in okoye...but you guys should chill... the guy is doing a good job at his club with his young age... Even inyama has been beaten by cheap goals and set pieces.
1. Angola slapped us in 2006 with set piece
2. Egyptians used short to almost blind Enyeama at afcon 2010 with loads of goals
3. Kenya humbled us (defending champion) with a breathe taking free kick in Calabar
4. Inyama allowed in a very cheap goal against Ethiopia in Addis Ababa World Cup qualifiers.
So you guys you free okoye... He's a young and vibrant goalkeeper for the future starting from the here and now

Just take a lookout at the Ghana version of okoye...wollacot abi wtin b him name... correct basket but yet the ghanaians are so determined that they will beat us on all the social media outlet.... Whereas one of our top Nigerian fan base site nairaland is filled with all sort of pessimist claiming to be football analyst pointing out baseless and dry fault from one player to the other...
Enyeama let in goals. Also made crucial saves. Okoye only does one part of the equation:let's in goals, makes no crucial saves

Your final paragraph is befuddled and doesn't make any sense to me.

Ghana coach is a scout of these teams not an assistant coach. There's a difference between a scouting coach/trainer and an assistant coach

Osimhen likes dirty games

I so much believe in him to destroy that day

If Ekong doesn't start that game, they should give the captain armband to Balogun... We need somebody tough who can match th Ghanaians madness for madness on the pitch...Balogun is that guy ..

give him time, he plays with worst defendersat his club, but he keep saving them,

but in SE he play with good defence, might be goalkeeper trainer issues, who knows

It's one thing to defend okoye , but then it's another thing to push his blame on another person. What kind of goalkeeper trainer were the likes of Ike shoromu , Vincent enyeama and ikema having while they were replicating confidence inspiring performances.

My prayers are that he has improved , I want a man of the match performance from him, it's not too much to ask for. Others do it. But I pray the Ghanaian side do not peg us down so much that we will need our goal keeper to inspire us to a favorable result.

Very dirty affair

The Ghanaians have been talking a lot of smack on the internet, but people are here telling us we should be humble.

At least the Tunisians displayed humility before they eliminated us. This one is equal braggadocio

And now, their journalists are all posting the news of Osimhen's brace and the people are accusing them of spreading fear and maintaining their arrogance.

Apparently, they are banking on the past record between us rather than current form to beat us...

When I say world class (thank you for the emphasis- technical advisor ) im not comparing him to guardiola, tuchel, mohrino, etc but he has played and coached at the highest leagues as far as the sport is concerned. He is one of the few blacks to have coached in the premier league. He was the caretaker coach of Tottenham at a time. He has been voted Championship Manager of the Year twice: in 2010 while at Newcastle and in 2016 for his work at Brighton. I think the has a lot of experience about the game.
Compare him to Eguavon, eguavon apart from coaching one south African club has been coaching gombe utd, enyimba etc. He has never played or coached in a top 5 league. Is this the resume needed for Nigeria to make an impact at the world cup? So I was calling Chris world class when compared to eguavon.
Why doesn't Nff hite a coach that has coached in thr top 5 leagues likewise?

How many indigenous coaches born and raised in Africa have had the chance of coaching in Europe? Eguavon may not be tactically sound enough to coach in Europe, but don't use his inability to coach there as a yardstick to judge him..It is literally impossible for him and other African coaches to get coaching jobs there.. It doesn't happen! There are a lot of whack coaches in that Europe...
Chris Hughton Hughton and Otto Ado aren't even the best coach Ghana have ever hired... They once had Avram Grant who coached Chelsea! How far did it go for them?
We too once had Rohr who coached in the ligue 1 and Berti Vogts who once won an European championship with Germany...

Na you get your opinion

If I ask you to bring the stats of the other goalkeepers now, E fit in hard you. At least based on current form, we know Okoye has not conceded goals this month.

I doubt we can say same for the other goalies.

Currently, there is no better goalie on ground. That is the only fact we have to work with, everything else is sentiments.

So you can say whatever, but he's in good form and hopefully, it will translate to the game against Ghana

Oga away with nothing abg.... we just wanna wake up one morning and c Enyeama in the goal post.....you must give the young lad enough playing time/years for him to be formidable... we started enjoying eyeama from AFCON 2006 to AFCON 2010 (penalty heroics) afcon 2013 and stretching down to his retirement days

That's a lie we started enjoying enyeama from get-go, his 2002 World Cup debut against England still lives fresh in our memories. The home based goalkeeper up against all mighty three lion squad. I remember the save he made from a Paul scholes shot. That experience at the World Cup literarily transformed him, he became Enyimba's top goalie leading them to back to back CAF glory. His weakness was his penalty deficiencies which he improved on subsequently at the AFCON where he saved two penalties against Tunisia. In the World Cup match against Argentina at 2010 and 2014 he was arguably the man of the match. Messi walked up to him to shake hands.

That match doesn't scare me at all, I think the worse result we can get in Ghana is a draw.

Just concerned some of our backline hasn't been playing since after afcon

So, at what point in his career did Corners become his weakness? Because I clearly remember that corners were Enyeama's greatest weakness, or are we erasing that part of the story?

It is when Enyeama was our goalie that I cultivated the habit of expecting Nigeria to concede. So, while he had great saves, he conceded a lot too.
