It's not that people are supporting Russian aggression, the fact is that people don't want to be dragged into a war between brothers. Let them resolve their problems themselves. Italy and the rest of Europe are yet to recover from covid induced economic recession, adding war to it would completely destroy the economy.

US that is fuelling the war by supplying weapons is thousands of miles away, the war will never affect them except it goes nuclear. Italy and Spain is just a few hundred miles away, so they would be directly be affected by the war if it expands. Millions of refugees alone would stretch the economy.
