Tinubu's ATM

Lagosians are enjoying the ATM. If Tinubu and other leaders did not provide the enabling environment for business to thrive, Microsoft won’t invest in Lagos.

Microsoft investment in Lagos is because it's a business hub. The sheer size of her population makes it an attractive destination for FDI. BAT was not the only governor who ruled Lagos for heaven sake. Before him many multinationals had also invested in Lagos! You guys should stop rewriting history because of your blind loyalty to him, it's becoming a cognitive dissonance that needs attention. Gosh

@the bolded, you are saying nonsense. Why can’t they invest in Kano if it’s just population that influence investment? Lagos is attractive for FDI because it has the Human Resources to drive those things and because it is investment friendly with a relatively peaceful environment.

Lagos has by far the highest number of tech startups in Africa so why shouldn’t Microsoft invest there?

About Asiwaju, if ya’ll can blame any bad thing about Lagos on him then why can’t we credit him for every good things??

The slavery in Lagos has moved the state to the third largest economy in Africa. It is also why Microsoft will rather invest in Lagos instead of Enugu or Akwa.

Stop deceiving yourself Mr. The market was there before they born Tinubu. Tinubu has nothing to do with it not even the governor. So what you are saying is that Tinubu is still the executive? Sanwo is just a figurehead? Tinubu is not bigger than Lagos so stop that rubbish.

My brother, don’t be pained by Tinubu’s achievements. He’s the architect of modern Lagos. That Lagos has been on the path of progress since 1999 is due to his vision. The business hub you’re taking about did not come by magic. It is the result of the hard work of Lagos state leadership since 1999. Give kudos to those that deserve it and stop hating.

Lagos state Pre-1999 was better organized, detribalized and more equitable than it is now. Like every other facet of the nation, lagos has rapidly deteriorated and become decadent

Some bad-belle and masanfani people will still find a reason to be upset about this news. They hate to see Lagos progress because it punctures their jaundiced narrative about its administrator(s).
