Gold and US30 will be my focus going forward. As long as rr is up to 1:3, am fine with the trade. US30 tend to take my sl before going in the predicted direction. Patience nd risk management is another thing am working on.

I am still learning though.. But in this contest I'm planning to trade audusd, Eurusd only but might opt in for xauusd if things go as plan..
My trades are taking base on what I get from divergence on RSI(strong tool for entry).. My trading psychology has been messed up by gold but still not giving and I'm looking for a way to balance my strategy to suit gold..

EU-->BOS and currently a break of trendline, if it breaks through that red arrow line and creates and new "LL" I would short it. If it does otherwise and break the purple rectangle above I expect a retest with a bullish candlestick formation before longing it. Fingers crossed. This should be simple.

Modified: well it did break the red line as can be seen in the second picture, but I noticed a subtle HnS pattern forming. If it breaks through the neckline( blue line), I'll confidently short it.
I missed a first entry at the purple box, so this should be a good 2nd entry. Fingers crossed.

I keep taking my setups when I see them not letting the losses scare me and applying my risk management. Because I have data to support my strategy, I know that taking my setups when I see them will eventually pull me out of DD and into profit

There is a gap at 1888 that i suspect will get filled. It is on all the timeframes lower than the monthly.

In this market, if you're not ready to lose, you can't gain big. Do your analysis, set the SL and allow the market to do what it wants to do; by so doing, there'd be less stress on you as you wait (patience).

It's either it hits the SL or you gain it big.

Thanks, boss, for trying to fine-tune the best way for us to master how to trade profitably well, in the long.

Although, I have started trading before seeing this piece you wrote. The two pairs I am trading are B.T.C and Dow Jones. My RR is often not decided, cos of my scalping strategy. Nevertheless, I'll try and work with 1:5.

As for what I often look out for when taking entries is in line with the old Forex terms - Buying low. Selling high . Exit is as the spirit leads o . Especially if I see that the market will take back the profit made so far, I exit.

I have learned that patience holds the greatest reward in this FX journey, but I still lack it
