Newcastle will go back in for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, despite the Italian side reportedly turning down a £100m bid by the Magpies for the 23-year-old Nigeria international in the January window.

Same player that will not make the academies of Epl and Championship clubs.

The Championship is considerably better than the Scottish League that's a statement of fact .

Scottish League is rated number 9 in Europe.

The English championship (a second division league) is considerably better that the league rated 9th in Europe

Napoli will NOT sell their most important player in the next 5years UNLESS they get a similar or better replacement, and the price is too good to turn down. And even at that, they may still not sell.

Unless the club is in urgent need of money due to financial troubles, them nor go sell. Its high time some of you know this.

Baba, no player is indispensable and definitely not Osimhen. If they get offered the right amount they'll offload him quickly.

True.

Last year, Inter Milan made it clear that Lukaku was not for sale numerous times. But Chelsea forced their hand by offering them an amount that is too big to be turned down. They let him go eventually.

Not every club is PSG. Even Man Utd faced the same thing in 2009, when they got offered 80m for Ronaldo. A big money at the time. They had to accept it , despite it being against the wishes of Sir Alex Ferguson. Because he never want Ronaldo to be sold then.

It's one of the reasons why Man Utd fans hated the Glazers then.

Actually Ovie has just come back from long standing Injury , Tega is on his way to the EPL with Fulham and Chuks has played 5 games and 2 goals for Charlton athletic in league.

But once again Chuks is injured again he is unfortunately very very injury prone he was out for two seasons with injury at one stage.

Well as you know Aribo came ftom League one straight to the SE from Charlton.

But I actually be don't think league one players should be considered unless they are clearly best in league and club like Aribo clearly was. And by the same yardstick players in back street in leagues in Europe.

Man, stop repeating this line and using it to justify players in league one.

Well, for starters, Aribo's case is an exception and not the rule as Aribo is an exceptionally gifted player.

Enyeama was first invited to the NT as Enyimba's second choice goalkeeper ( same as Noble now), will u continue to use that as justification to keep inviting bench warmers in the NPFL to the NT?

Do u know Yisa Shofoluwe was taken straight from the street to the NT, will u continue using that as justification to bring players from the street to the NT?

Like I said, these are more of exceptions than the rule so stop regurgitating this line.

How many players want to continue at Napoli for the rest of their career ?

Osimhen want to play for Europe big boys ,I wish he was the one that joined juventus

I think Napoli should sell osimhen for the right offer ,that’s how they rejected 90 million for koulibally ,now man is already 30 and might wait to leave for free next season ,they wouldn’t want to do such mistake anymore

He was purchased for 45 million ,if they refuse to sell for 80 million then Na them sabi

People need to realize that football today is first a business. I mean a BUSINESS

Except for rare occasions, no club will refuse a big money offer for a player. We are likely to see the same thing play out with Mo Salah in Liverpool. A player loved and adored by the fans, but if his financial expectations will cause a financially disciplined team like Liverpool violate their policy, they are likely to let him go. When Napoli gets offered the right amount, Victor will be on the next plane out.

Udinese have confirmed the signing, on a pre-contract, of Derby County attacker Festy Ebosele.

The Wexford lad has been strongly linked with a move to Udinese after he travelled there for talks in January and last week Derby County manager Wayne Rooney admitted that their hopes of agreeing a new contract with the former St Joseph's Boys man had ended as he'd agreed a move to an unspecified Italian side.

And last night Udinese confirmed the deal on their social media channels.

Ebosele, who is in line to play for Ireland's U21 side away to Sweden next week, will see out the season with Derby but then move to Italy.

In January the club confirmed they had signed current U19 cap James Abankwah, in a deal which saw him loaned back to St Patrick's Athletic until the summer when he will formally move to Udine.

Napoli will not sell Osimhen. Not now. If they win the Seria A, maybe, maybe not. Lets see how it goes.

My prediction. I see a goalless draw (0 - 0) against the black stars on Friday..

The return leg? I don't know who's going to win. The game could go either way.

With our forward 3, there's no way we'll not score at least 2 or 3 goals. Especially now that we have the attack-minded Amunike. My only fear be say make we nor conceed more than one goal.

The long awaited list of the Black stars of Ghana is out.
I have done my analysis.
It will take only a tactical genius to prevent Nigeria from scoring, if we bring on our A game.

The Ghananian defense line is full of weaknesses that we can exploit, i don't even know how their coach will make up for it, maybe their midfielders might play deeper.

The midfield was already weak with the absence of a creative midfielder which Ndidi doubled as both a defensive midfielder and a creative midfielder in the last afcon,. Now Ndidi is out. Check out any cup wining team they need a creative midfielder, they need someone like Luka modric, the reason Spain won the world cup and euro back then was the midfield. They didn't have outstanding strikers but with xavi and iniesta in the centre it was hard for the opponents to gain meaningful possession.

Eguavon should look for a creative midfielder, when we won the afcon in 2013 Mikel made more decisive passes than any other player in that afcon edition. He was the livewire spearheading the attackers with incisive passes. We need a player like that, The absence of a creative midfielder was why we couldn't equalise against Tunisia, and eguavon tried to bring in Iwobi to fill that gap but he should have had planned his team around a playmaker from the onset and now we still lack one

Just browsing.

Nacho should not start.

We need creativity behind Osimhen. Nacho can't provide that. He can come in second half. I know some people go get erection ontop my assertion and misunderstand it, but who cares?

Yes he scores goals once in a while, but truth is, Nacho will limit our creativity upfront and make our midfield Minus-one.

I mean I don't get it; doing the same thing over and over again means Eguavoen hasn't learnt his lesson from the last Afcon.

Who do you suggest to play behind Osimhen and bring in creativity?

We cannot afford to be short in midfield. This game is a battle of midfield. Forget about wingers, them go try cage our wings, hence, whoever controls the midfield, wins this game. I can guarantee you that.

Iheanacho has improved in the rate at which he drops to the midfield to help build play. You will notice this in his last games for Leicester City. This can help balance our offensive and midfield play.
