Mousup40: Perception is perspectives and that's created from personal experience and understanding. It's mostly emotive and not objective. I've watched the never ending crucifixion of Okoye all his good work forgotten for one perceived mistake. A mistake that was a catalogue of errors concluding in a left hand ✋ that just didn't have in enough strength to divert a ball that bubbled before he could reach it . The preference for Uzoho is based on what ❓ what inspires confidence in one is still perspective based on emotive preference . I've not seen one person break down by calculated measured assessment what Uzoho does that makes him better than Okoye. There is not one objective based assesment, just preference. If Uzoho was so good , he should be first choice goal keeper and outstanding in club and league albeit it a backwater league rated close to 20. But is he ❓❓ Too many are quick to castigate and harangue Okoye all for one lapse. Let's now see what Uzoho will do in this match, the value of something is only appreciated when it's not there. 1 Like |

I am looking at our forward line and all I can say is that, we’re too talented upfront not to showcase our talent to the world. Eguavoen please select the right balanced formation especially in the Midfield |

Mujtahida:Nobody hate Okoye but we need to say obvious....Maduka has not had any significant outing for eagles to justify that he is numero uno. Nigeria have produced good national team keepers from Emma Okala,Peter Fregene,Joe Enrico,Amusa Adisa,Patrick Okala,Best Ogedegbe,Peter Rufai,Wilfred Agbonavbare,Vincent Enyeama and Carl Ikeme and I want to say I can only compare Alloy Agu to Okoye Maduka cos nothing spectacular about Alloy Agu throughout his career.....I remember how fans were always furious seeing Alloy Agu picked ahead of talented Christian Obi in Moscow 85 and when Westerhof came it was the same Agu but it was obvious he was not better.Good Agbonavbare came to the rescue during US 94 qualifiers and Rufai later made it as number one during Afcon and World Cup. Truly Maduka is young but till today I still find it hard how equally young Uzoho with world cup experience lost out to fellow average keeper like Maduka with no single remarkable display in GWG. 8 Likes 4 Shares |

We should expect unsportsmanlike conduct from the Ghanaians I am very confident about it. In the reverse fixture, we must amplify whatever treatment that the Ghanaians do to us 2 Likes |

Joezinho:Why shouldn't we brag. Even the Ghanaians that are relying on history rather than talent are bragging so why shouldn't we brag. Our nairaland bragging has literally no effect on the performance of the team. Even after bragging and they later lost, no lele na into the next match. No use pessimism deny your self of normal joy 7 Likes |

somehow:I don't have anything to say about enyimba's first choice goal keeper not getting a call up. But you see onazi's case, it would be another negative uproar if he replaced Ndidi because NFF knows the supporters already see his invite as irksome. 1 Like |

somehow:Hmmmm....John Noble over Ojo,nothing new,Rohr started this inviting Ezenwa a third choice keeper in Enyimba then into eagles and also John Noble even when he lost his club first position...Eguavoen continue where Rohr stopped....question to Alloy Agu to answer cos he served Rohr and still serving Eguavoen.. Really surprised seeing Onazi on the provisional list as standby and injury to Ndidi,Egu ran to Bonnke who was not even in the list, damn confusing. Let's just be hopeful against Ghana 1 Like |
