AndSunGorilla: My fear too bro but we have to make do with what we have. It's a derby game with the World Cup ticket on the line in front of a hostile crowd in Kumasi and an expectant crowd in Abuja.. They need a ball winner and one who has the lungs of Ndidi. 2 Likes 1 Share |

chrisooblog: Having Etebo and Onyeka the tank in the middle and a mobile midfielder like aribo who can play one-two passes around the box gives us the option to play through the midfield if the wings are clogged.. We also need to move the ball quickly in the final third. Our wingers shouldn't be trying to force the ball past 3 players over and over again like Simon did against Tunisia. 4 Likes 1 Share |

safarigirl: A woman like Lianne Sande:rson and 99% of women footballers and retired women footballers will never ever say they expect S.E to concede in both legs because they set high standards, your standards are too low for a team like the S.E.. Unless you work for NFF and you're trying to lower expectations and standards that Nigerians expect from the S.E.. Nigeria is an African football powerhouse and is presently stronger than Ghana so based on their current strengths Ghana scoring in both legs means S.E has serious coaching defiencies.. 3 Likes |

Sportilitica: Uzoho is a more tested goalie. I can hardly think of he conceding the types of cheap goals Okoye is conceding. Besides, also, he looks more confident in goal. My greatest fear going into that AFCON was our Goalkeeping department. What really helped Okoye at the group stage was that our team was way stronger than their opponents and didn't really receive any major goals threat. The only shot that was directed at Okoye all tournament he could not save. Even if we had scaled through Tunisia I doubt we could have scaled through the next stage. Look at even the penalty we conceded against Sudan and the way Okoye was mesmerized by the kicker. Na that kine keeper for carry us through Normal penalty shootouts? 4 Likes |

Kog45: I liked that you didn't add Ike shorounmu, because I never liked the guy. You must have assurance that a keeper should save your blushes often. But with okoye and uzoho at the present level they are operating, I can't ever have hope in us winning any tournament. Just a single mistake is all it takes and everything comes undone |

zicky:based on what criteria? If we're going with 442, Sadiq and Osimehn will be a good pairing...Sadiq playmaking ability, dropping deep, his height and even his goal threat will complement Osimehn. Ighalo is just like Osimehn, they both can't play together... Nacho doesn't really roam 1 Like 1 Share |

The Ghanaians seems like the favourites to win midfield battles, but Eguavoen and his crew are not in the game to do midfield battles. Just to get the ball to the forwards, it doesn't matter where the ball takes off from, whether it is directly from the defense line, and the rest is history. With the exception of Etebo, our midfield is defense minded, meaning that their roles will just be to chase the ball to win it back. This is a great disadvantage. If the Ghanaians find a way to intercept the long passes coming to our forwards, we are done. The ability to string together passes in midfield means that the Ghanaians can get the ball more often to their forwards. For our forwards to coordinate properly with the ball, they need a supportive midfield. Who will provide this support, maybe a match rusty Etebo. This is why i think Iheanacho should start, despite other reasons why he shouldn't. The absence of Iwobi should have made Nwakali's invitation second to none. The truth is that our forwards cannot do it alone. When they are double marked, they are rendered impotent. We saw this in the match against Tunisia. Ejuke and Ademola Lookman are the only forwards who can cruise their way out of tight situations. One was invited, the other wasn't, it is worth noting that Ejuke is the best winger for Eguavoen's system, because he can double as a midfielder. Let's see how it goes. 1 Like |

Ghana's tactics at defending will be: Intercept the long passes to their forwards, and when we can't, we close up their wingers. Modified: But Osimhen's movements can make all the difference. Osimhen can be our cheat code. |

mostob: I just pray Eguavoen doesn't go with the 442 again, with the personnels we have, he should use 352 or 4231.. But with the small amount of midfielders invited, I think Eguavoen might Wana go with 442. The rigid 442 will hand the initiative to Ghana allow them to build confidence early and feed off the energy of their home crowd. |
