oilykid: And by 2031, Yoruba joins forces with Northern APC to deny SE the ticket? How you see am? God's willing the political gladiators in 8 - 10 years time are the Minister's, Governor's and Senators of which the SE is doing little to have chain of leaders with actual political clout. The east should be building relationship in politics and not play politics of hate. 1 Like |

M1Garand:But yorubas did the same in 2015 and nobody called it politics of hate. Igbos wants to get right this time by building bridges with northerners in 2023 by supporting Atiku |

safarigirl: Just look at what you just said. The hatred towards yoruba man success led you to type this crap. It's shocking to posit that Tinubu is clueless about economy. Help yourself to read about the investment and organisation structure Tinubu did when he was Lagos state governor. The Atiku lots are calling doesn't have any executive work experience. Just an ordinary custom chief and a ceremonial Vice president 1 Like |

oilykid: Supporting Buhari over GEJ was not hatred at all. It was where the country was as at that time. In 2015, Nigerians were fed up with the government of Jonathan. In the south west, can you point to any legacy project Jonathan did for Yorubas. But despite Igbos hatred for Buhari he his still leaving the south east much better than he met it. The MBB alone is enough clout. Now can you say the same for GEJ in Yoruba land. Can you also mention anybody Jonathan appointed in this region. It's simple 2015 was not politics of hate but what we needed at that time... Now for you guys you abuse hausas and fulanis you also call Yoruba slaves for supporting Fulani and the north. That's the hatred we are talking about and the toxic nature of your peeps. Same is happening to Jagaban. Despite south west being very accommodating to your clan. You cannot tell me there's a natural love between Igbo and hausa from time immemorial. Yorubas are nation builders and we are more accommodating and welcoming. That's why you will see more Yoruba - Hausa, Yoruba - igbo relationship than Igbo Hausa relationship. And all these things too matter in politics. A northerner will naturally head west than go to the east. Same way an Easterner will naturally head west than go to the north. That's how we built our bridges even away from Politics. Even in marriage we no dey Carry religion for head. That's the reason Tinubu and Fashola both have Christains as wife's. We don't practice cancel ✖️ culture like you people do. And thats what humanity should be about respecting people for who they are first before religion or tribal affiliations. 1 Like |

Cyntie55:Yen yen yen yen yen yen yen Age is nothing but a number ma, Biden, Trump, Putin are older than Tinubu yet they are really active and yet kim jun young of North Korea is just in his late thirties yet he's down with all sort of ailments and sometimes he disappears for month due to health issues . I think we should all give Tinubu a chance before condemning and hating on someone who has already achieved all that we can only dream of |

GboyegaD: Not necessarily, watch the video, he's making a case of strategic planning where whoever they decide to pick, should be someone who will win for the party, irrespective of region. The goal is to win, whoever brings that to the table should be the candidate of choice. |
Re: Forget Zoning, Be Strategic: What Tambuwal Really Said About Zoning (video) by tctrills: 9:16pm On Mar 23, 2022 |
GboyegaD:That's not the point. APC is bringing out a southerner so if PDP brings out a northerner, it's much easier to win. PDP is already dominant in the SS and SE so having a northern candidate gives then the advantage. 1 Like |

A lot of comments here are actually naive and unrealistic. There's a natural reason Tinubu is the most popular tho this is his first time contesting. It's not magic it's nature, charisma. Hardwork and antecedents. 1 Like |

oilykid: If SE fails to demand for PDP ticket in 2023...then all the noise about marginalisation should stop...cos they are the problem...how hard is it for them to have a strong consensus candidate and back him totally...and use that to negotiate and insist for ticket...everything currently works in the favor of South East but rather than strategic on getting it...u are focused on another party where south east is not predominant. I think what the Igbos need is to get a good candidate and speak with one voice behind him and get a strong northern candidate as vice president...If the 2 parties zone their ticket to the south....it becomes a fair thing for Nigeria as a whole...And ur analysis about 2031 is childish, in politics alignment and realignment happen often and the southwest will also not go to sleep....what Igbos really need is unity....see as much as the SW knows that Osinbajo is a great choice...since Tinubu spoke, no other strong contender has spoken and even if he will have to drop for another, it will be via internal discussions to agree....thatbis what Igbos lack...everyone want to be Oga....things don't work that way...U stoop to conquer...u align to have on3 voice |
Re: Forget Zoning, Be Strategic: What Tambuwal Really Said About Zoning (video) by tunjilana: 7:24am On Mar 24, 2022 |
tctrills: Party politics is about stake...as a politician u want to focus on delivering ur state for ur party so that u can be relevant when sharing the dividends....except u are already one leg in , one leg out and planning to decamp...the APC governors in the North will not massively align behind a northern candidate from another party...cos of greed and selfishness....they will also want to stay where they are sure of returns |

Re: Forget Zoning, Be Strategic: What Tambuwal Really Said About Zoning (video) by oilykid(m): 7:27am On Mar 24, 2022 |
tunjilana:Yorubas are not just united but they also hate theirselves. Obasanjo and olu falae fought over the ticket when it was zoned to them. Akintola and Awolowo were sworn enemies in history, even now tinubu still have yorubas who are against his ambitions. Stop making it be an igbo affair cause humans will always disagree and fight each other including same families. Yorubas did not demand for the Apc ticket in 2015 cause they knew they had no chances of winning GEJ then but they had to support buhari in order to get northerners support in 2023 and that's the samething igbos should next year.. |
Re: Forget Zoning, Be Strategic: What Tambuwal Really Said About Zoning (video) by tunjilana: 7:33am On Mar 24, 2022 |
TheBeat: Then the focus here is politics if hate...u have a party where u have invested so much, which is pdp...the current zoning arrangement favors SE cos it is naturally their turn but rather than seek to actualize it within PDP, where u have massively supported since 1999...u believe it is APC where u have no strong foot that u shud demand for the ticket...and rather than do the work needed to get it in the party where u have toiled, u rather focus on another party...only to continue blaming Nigeria for marginalisation |
Re: Forget Zoning, Be Strategic: What Tambuwal Really Said About Zoning (video) by tunjilana: 8:41am On Mar 24, 2022 |
oilykid: U still don't get it...Yorubas rally behind people...Akintola and Awolowo were allies b4 the fall out...yorubas understand structure and are cool with leadership and followership...they understand that even if more than one person is competent, rich, sellable, smart e.t.c...only one person can rule...and they seek internal consensus most times....In the case if Obasanjo and Falae....Falae was the consensus yoruba candidate as at 1999...Obasanjo, though a yoruba man, was the candidate of other Nigerians...infact he didnt even win his local govt....it is not hatred, he wasn't just the rallying point and he knew it, hence the need to bully himself in by 2003...and also the controversial death of Bola Ige...the toruba political structures were simply behind Falae....Today, the yoruba political structures are mainly aligned behind Tinubu...while Osinbajo may be a good candidate, he will still need to align and dialogue with Tinubu so one of them leverages the structure....thequestion to u is where is the Igbo political structure and who are they aligned for, at this time...u keep giving to PDP but not as one front but as individuals incapable of negotiating enbloc for the region....until that is fixed, you will keep thinking the problem is with other Nigerians |
Re: Forget Zoning, Be Strategic: What Tambuwal Really Said About Zoning (video) by oilykid(m): 9:05am On Mar 24, 2022 |
tunjilana:Only one person can but Awolowo and abiola nearly annihilated theirselves due to their ambition. Which igbo have done that before cause of politics. Like I said,2023 is for igbos to build political structure by supporting Atiku and then get the presidency back after atiku is over .Any igbo contesting this time will shall just like yorubas would have lost in 2015 if they had gone to contest against GEJ. They understood the assignment and they had to support buhari for them to get buharis support in 2023 1 Like |

tunjilana:You're the one attaching emotion to the politics. You talk as if only SW has stake in APC. Onu, Ngige, Rochas are all patrons and they have the right to seek for the ticket. Who are you to tell us what to ask for or not to ask for. 2015 was a smart move by SW, in 2023, SE will return the favour for her own interest as well. How many states where being controlled by CPC block before the merger? Why didn't ACN block produce the president? I hope you get it now. |

No need for explanation, Tambuwa, Saraki, Atiku, etc ought to be disqualified automatically for being selfish, unfaithful, ungrateful, untrusted, undeserving & political prostitute contestants. Nevertheless, PDP should know that given their presidential ticket to any of these will mean automatic lost for them again comes 2023 general elections. If everybody have same mindset as them, PDP wouldn't have been existing now. |

Atiku will wake up the ‘ must the north always rule’ sentiment in the south. The same sympathy vote GEJ got in 2011 because the north wanted to chance him is the same the southern candidate of the APC will get especially in the south. That northerners would want to contest this election after eight years of northern rule is a slap to the face of every southerner in the PDP. Umahi saw this earlier and that was why he defected. There will be more defections from the PDP If a northerner gets the ticket. The same Atiku that walked out on the PDP with 5 serving northern governors when GEJ decided to contest in 2015 because it was the norths turn is the same person wanting to retain power in the North after 8 years of northern rule. You see the double standard? The Igbos blame Tinubu who was in opposition and whose life ambition was to remove the PDP from power for betraying Jonathan, then queue to support the one man that left the party with 5 serving governors that cemented Jonathan’s loss. Irony of life. |
