technix: Ideally, if one changes school after a study permit has been approved, one has to reapply for another study permit.
But in this case, you didn't receive any approval email, and I assume that your application portal was not updated also. I will advise that you raise a webform, explain the situation and attach the new letter of acceptance. Perhaps, they will update it.
And if they don't, you should apply for another study permit.
In applying for another permit does it mean she'll pay another visa fee? And wait the long process again? Or what's the time frame she can wait to get another permit? And does it come with another visa or the same visa but different permit? |

Good morning everybody. Congratulations again to all who received their PPR. I pray that others will receive theirs in due time. Please, I have a question. I did my JR, got settlement, but awaiting file reopening. I’ve been sending mails to MPs and filling webforms. Anyways, my RCIC told me that my file is in India. Please, has anyone ever gotten their files processed in India? 2 Likes |

All to the Glory of God The Father of Compassion! My application was exactly 3 months gbako and significant; i started sending more than 50 mails daily to IRCC excluding daily webforms and MP's(just a week roughly). I started this like a week to the completion of the 3 months (according to IRCC's calendar but to me, 3 months was completed last week)
At this juncture guys, what i will say is your application is unique to yourself alone, don't let anyone confuse you, have Faith in it, eat study visa YouTube videos daily and every night like me, follow international students on line (telegram, i.g,...), follow latest Canada schooling/traveling news, do your assignment as i did mine and God crown me my 2% making it 100% perfect, without Him it can never be perfected, but remember """Faith without Work is Dead""", that is it.
And i will also advise, tackle every areas in your SOP, don't take chances and Pray daily. I said i won't stop praying from 22nd Dec till the day of reception, yesterday and now we still keep on Praying.
WHAT WORKS FOR OTHERS MIGHT NOT WORK FOR YOU BUT YOU CAN LEARN FROM IT AS I HOPE YOU'VE LEARNT FROM THIS. DO YOUR ASSIGNMENT THROUGH YOUR INTENSE RESEARCH. BELIEVE +VELY GOD BLESS.
I can not but thank the gurus here(lekki bobo, frank, makano...) and all persons here that has contributed to this PPR and answering all my questions, some that i meet here that are already in Canada today, Henry Osamede (NL), Lolade(NL), Olu Japa Community, Olu of Canada, Mrs O., Mc Bernardino on YTB, Ms_ Yemisi, Damilima, Noel Abingwa and other international students and Cad. Citizenship. Thank you all, am small but so grateful.
NOTE:- I did it myself including the POF's, the running of account for like 7 months, applied myself through enough researches on GCKey Portal and this was actually my First Time to the Glory of God and His Compassion that births Mercy and Grace over me.
To all PPR hopeful, yours dEy come this month, shhààmííñ àdùrááá!!!
Bye for now! Now i can have a good soothing sleep mehhhn. (Sorry this is long, didn't plan it as such) 1 Like |

Hello guys good day please I have a question that has been bothering me.
Is it possible to change from a DLI university to a DLI college immediately I get to Canada? I applied to a university in Canada and got admitted and It's the admission letter i am using for my permit & visa processing now. But I would like to change to a college instead when I get to Canada. So as not to delay my visa processing is why I am using the one from the university.
Please Is it possible? 1 Like |

Hello ShallyK I reapplied 10th March but my upfront medical hasnt been updated even though i included it among the docs i submitted while applying. Did u send yours as webform or you included among submitted docs while applying the 2nd time. Pls reply ShallyK: Thanks. I was asking because I reapplied 17th March and my upfront medical got passed 22nd March. So I wanted to see if that's a good sign.

TanLiJun: Thanks for commenting. But I said that I'm not bringing up anything concerning my higher qualification and job. I have used WAEC, and will stick to it. Besides, I'm still young to start all over again, academically. My question is, will using my salary account raise a red flag?
As in salary pay is the only income that appears on the statement and it indicates ; source/purpose/payment month .. Example (IPPIS Salary June 2022) in the past 4 or 6 months @ certain amount which may call attention!!! But claimed you have business venture to compensate for study gap which is also tie to country of origin ..if the above is the case... Your personal assets and financial status is on the line... Ties to country of origin... Purpose of visit; due to study gap..... Secondary if application is decided anyway you may not used your past higher qualification and job work experience b4 application is made ,in future application, otherwise is misrepresentation |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Jacklens: 11:37am On Mar 25, 2022 |
Thanks, ShowYoung. The question still needs clarification: who sends the medical to RICC for the already submitted study permit application? Is it the form that I will submit? How about the results? ShowYoung:
1. IOM will provide you upfront medical form. It's stated on their website.
2. You must wait for biometric request letter which is important for accessing VFS office. That letter usually comes a day after study permit application submission. After getting this letter, you can book for biometric appointment.
3. You don't need to send your biometric result yourself. Most people get theirs updated before they get home the same day the biometric is done. 1 Like |
