daveP: You guys are funny. You don’t mark a defensive midfielder. Forget how good Partey seems to be at Arsenal, he is still basically a destroyer/box to box, not a playmaker. That’s like saying you want to mark Ndidi out of a game or put extra midfielders to counter Ndidi, it is unwise. What you do is to play to your strengths. Since you know Partey is good in midfield, avoid going through his lanes. Bypass him, easy. Make him as less involved in the game as possible. 12 Likes |

JayromWrites:yeah me that, so far no major problems just a few hitches here and there, that stadium hadnt hosted international game for some years now, it was a last minutes change which was also accepted by your FA so rather focus on the game, its like you guys are already making excuses for when you lose 1 Like |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by daveP(m): 2:21pm On Mar 25, 2022 |
drDoom3:This is not about trying to be funny. If we have Ndidi, I wont even mind whatever AE wants to do with his labcoat. We played to our strength vs Tunisia and they took the sole risk of just frustrating our best players and it worked. If we don't want to do that, OYO!! Any football team that can't frustrate the best players of their opponents is in the past. Imagine Burnley playing to their strength vs Liverpool and not focusing on frustrating Salah/Mane?? Tunisia did nothing significant against us but they were mission accomplished!! |

JayromWrites:That's one thing about Abuja. They aren't football Crazy. Coming to the stadium is like picnic or a flex point. That's why I love Uyo. Without the supporters club doing their thing, the main fans were crazy and active. If they provide buses, they may still not come out. I hope I'm proved wrong though. |

daveP: Bro, Abuja fans are not vociferous, even Lagos doesn't give that fire and intimidating atmosphere it used to be known for.. As for the return leg in Abuja, these Ghananese are lucky I am not the president. Their players would have brought their parachutes when coming to naija.. Or better still, this : 3 Likes 1 Share
