First and most importantly, I want to thank God for this success of my application and for giving me my PPR!! He alone is worthy to be praised. I also wanna thank everyone who helped me one way or the other by answering all my questions. Here’s my story, timeline and documents:
My Visa application journey started February last year. After 4 months of waiting, My first application was refused in June for “personal assets and financial status” reasons. I Ordered for my gcms notes, the VO stated that my funds were too modest (small) & doesn’t seem available & sufficient.
So, I deferred my admission from September to January 2022 . My friend advised I changed my course from a three-year course to one that lasted for two years since both will get you a 3year work permit at the end of the day.. so I changed my course, but still within the same field (IT/Computing)
I began another application journey, but this time, I decided to include my bank statements too. So I told my sponsor who is also my step-father to start sending my remaining tuition fees and living expenses into my account so I can apply when it’s complete.
So he sent 7 million in July, 8million in September, and 3 million in October. He also liquidated one of his fixed accounts and sent 10 million into his savings account
I Reapplied on November 11, 2021 with the initial documents I submitted in my first application with a letter of explanation explaining how I have addressed the visa officer’s concerns.
I deferred my application again to May 2022, then the long wait started till I got my PPR yesterday night.
Application: Old portal (November 11 2021) Upfront medicals- December 6, 2021 Medical passed- December 17, 2021 Eligibility review started - February 2022 PPR & BVL - March 24, 2022
Documents submitted: 1 All IMM forms 2 Proof of funds: Letter of sponsorship Affidavit of sponsorship Sponsor’s Nigerian passport Sponsor’s UK passport Tuition receipt Sponsor’s Bank statements (12 million) My own bank statements ( 20 million ) - I had 2 million in my account before, so he sent 18million Valuation of his landed properties (3buildings - 90million in total ) Letter from Sponsor’s UK employer Work ID Payslips for 4months
3 Client information: Letter of explanation Statement of Purpose Birth certificate NIN slip Waec certificate University Certificate University Student copy transcripts English language proficiency letter from university IELTS Certificate from British American Tobacco for 4 months industrial training Certificate from Polaris Bank for 4 months industrial training NYSC certificate Police Character certificate Mother’s Nigerian passport Mother’s UK residential permit ID Marriage certificate to prove sponsor’s relationship with my mother My Younger sibling’s birth certificate
P.S: I sent a Deed of gift via webform two months after I submitted my application when my eligibility review had already started.

Thanks for your input. The account in question is not only for salary. It's just a 'general duty' account used most a times. Predator188:
As in salary pay is the only income that appears on the statement and it indicates ; source/purpose/payment month .. Example (IPPIS Salary June 2022) in the past 4 or 6 months @ certain amount which may call attention!!! But claimed you have business venture to compensate for study gap which is also tie to country of origin ..if the above is the case... Your personal assets and financial status is on the line... Ties to country of origin... Purpose of visit; due to study gap..... Secondary if application is decided anyway you may not used your past higher qualification and job work experience b4 application is made ,in future application, otherwise is misrepresentation |

I pray that others will receive theirs in due time. Please, I have a question. I did my JR, got settlement, but awaiting file reopening. I’ve been sending mails to MPs and filling webforms. Anyways, my RCIC told me that my file is in India. Please, has anyone ever gotten their files processed in India? |

Hi, Send the new passport page via webform, and when passport request comes, send the new passport only. Candid21: Guys,
Thanks a lot for all you do.
My application is currently pending (November Applicant) with IRCC. However, the international passport I uploaded with my document will expire in 3 months, but I have collected the renewed passport.
My question now is, do I wait till PPR comes out and submit both passports or do I just send the new data page to Nairobi via email.
Please save a soul....

Good evening everyone,
Please about the custodian declaration form, does it matter if the custodian first gets it notarized in Canada before we also notarize our part here in Nigeria. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Iamgrac: 7:09pm On Mar 25, 2022 |
Does the order in which it is don matter, I mean can the custodian first notarize it before the parents? kweje:
What you need to do is fill both pages online, then print it out. Have the page 2 it signed by the parents or guardian, give to a Notary public to sign. Leave the page 1 unsigned, its for the custodian and Canadian Notary. Scan both pages and email to the custodian. He or she will sign their bit and give to a Canadian lawyer.
Then it can be rescanned and emailed back to you. |

you can’t have access to what is sent. You are the one that’ll select the starting and ending date you want the embassy to see and that’s what they’ll have access to |

Prior to bringing my profile to @Frankrobbn1, I had entrusted my application to an agent who filled me with hopes of a swift and stress-free approval. Much to my dismay, his work ethic was the first indication that he would rescind on his promises. It was always difficult to get accurate feedback from this agent, evidence that he did not quite have a firm grip on things. Eventually, I got that distasteful refusal letter from the visa officer. Everything looked so bleak as I was filled with much frustration and disappointment.
After shaking off my disappointment, I took to the internet resolved to find a result-oriented agent who would handle my re-application and ensure that I got an approval. It was during this hunt that I discovered @Frankrobbn1, the CEO of fandrglobal.com on nairaland. I still harbored residual skepticism due to my initial refusal, so I carried out extensive research on fandrglobal.com which yielded a heap of positive results. I am so elated to have crossed part with @Frankrobbn, he ensured that my long-standing aspiration to move to Canada became a reality.
I have never known transparency like that which @Frankrobbn1 displayed whilst handling my application. I am exceptionally thankful to have been carried along through every stage of this process. Frank is a true professional. He conveyed his utmost sincerity from the day we established communication. He sensed when I had doubts, especially because I was reapplying. He assured me that his approach would portray the strength of my application. Frank is swift, thorough, and focused on bringing in the expected results. Frank makes it so clear and simple.
I am a married woman with kids, whose current career path is not necessarily corresponding with my intended master’s program and yet Frank found a way to make it work. If you feel your case is so peculiar and impossible to work, let my case encourage you to seek out your solution at fandrglobal.com. I am certain your success story will be next.
Thank you @Frankrobben1. You have fulfilled my dreams. Best wishes to everyone. 1 Like |
