Hello all Been reading this group and I'm super happy for all the good news! Indeed I'm very optimistic. Need a little information, I submitted my application in October 2020, passed in December of same year, and it's been quiet since. Didn't get most of the usual ghost updates or any communication. Also requested GCMS but it's been more than 4 months and nothing yet. I got remedical request this week (also noticed the background check section changed from "we will let you know when we start your background check" to "we are processing your background check and we will let you know if we need more information". However, between when I submitted and now. I have changed employers and relocated outside Nigeria because of work, I've tried sending several webforms with no response, I tried again recently and was directed to mail Accra VO which I have done but no response still, has anyone successfully updated their employment record and address while waiting? How did you go about it please? 4 Likes |

Hi Guys, I just want to confirm before I get my own ADR for PCC. Do I have to go to Alagbon and get a fresh one or I can just upload the one I got in 2019. |

Hello Everyone, Please I'm just about to begin the process of applying for PR through FSWP. I'm currently doing my MSc. I used the CRS assessment tool to predict my score and I got 459 assuming i and my husband get a high ielts score and my MSc is used. My sister just got her PPR last week and so I included it. My age must have played a role in my score being low because I'm over 35. I'm a secondary school teacher and I know that most provinces don't have my NOC listed as occupations in demand. Is there really any hope for me. Please I'll appreciate any advice I can get. Thanks 1 Like |

Goodkindbro: Type it with bold fontface type and then print to hand sign it and scan. Any additional document you add due to space constraint on document must be labelled e.g Exhibit A and referenced in Schedule A question section. 1 Like |

Good Afternoon Everyone, Please can someone with Bsc-Agronomy and MSc - Forestry and Environment claim NOC 0114 - Other administrative services managers if your Job role fit the NOC? Looking at the NOC site ,the employment requirement say degree must be Business related. Please see attached

Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by Allegory(f): 2:16pm On Mar 26, 2022 |
Urielbam:You can claim it for FSW. You can claim any NOC from the 0, A and B category as long as you have the experience, degree doesn’t matter but you can’t claim it if you’re applying to SINP because they want your degree to be related to your work experience. 2 Likes |

Smithsonian12: 1. You may not see any ghost update. That is fine 2. GCMS don't usually last that long. You may want to check with the agency you applied through to be sure they received your documents, proof of payment of GCMS request fee and to be sure they have submitted your request to the responsible agency in Canada 3. Regarding change of address, provided you have raised a webform informing ircc and/or sent email to your VO (if you are sure of the VO), then you have nothing to worry about. I was in the same situation, I never received response to my webform or my VO on my change of address. Yet, I received my ppr while I was outside the country, sent my documents to the nearest vfs (outside Nigeria) and I got my COPR. So don't be disturbed, I'm wishing you all the best. 2 Likes |

Thanks a lot Tyola! Appreciate the wishes too. This is such huge relief. For the GCMS, I sent a mail to CAIPS (the agency I used), this is my third or fourth follow up and they're quite prompt to respond (usually within 48hours), stating that they are also shocked by the delay from IRCC. They confirmed that they've received all my details and are waiting for response. I don't really know my VO as I've never received any GCMS notes or updates that showed this. Is there any other way to know one's VO? Tyola: |

As for the GCMS, you will just have to wait. Or you may try sending another one via https://www.getgcms.com. (I used it and I got my GCMS in less than 35 days) GCMS or email from VO are the only two ways of identifying one's VO (that I know of). But I believe your webform should be good enough. Hello everyone, I got NOI form Ontario with a CRS score of 455 although I have submitted my application it has not been acknowledged yet and 2days ago I dropped points due to age 450. Who knows if I need to update them about this and what channel to use. Thanks NB* the lowest score selected for that batch of NOI was 455. |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by Belle35: 5:48pm On Mar 26, 2022 |
You don’t have to worry about your points dropping because of age. Similar thing happened to me. I got NOI few days to my birthday, I quickly screen grabbed my CRS score before I dropped points and I submitted my application weeks after I lost 5 points which was below the cutoff mark. I had no issues and still got my nomination. Opemipooye: 4 Likes |
