Good afternoon house, To the gurus, God bless you all for been there all the time. I want to know about Graduate bundle certificate program, combining 1year + 1 year program, what will be the duration (length) of the program? 1year or 2years? Thank you, |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Ketima: 2:26pm On Mar 26, 2022 |
Holuwatoyin201: Hello Holuwatoyin, 8months course = 1year = 1year PGWP 8 + 8months courses = 16months = 2 or 3 years PGWP 1year course = 1year = 1 year PGWP 1+1 year courses = 2years = 2 or 3 years PGWP 2year course = 2years = 2 or 3 years PGWP But note that we have seen case(s) of someone who did 2 year course and got 1 year PGWP while her classmates got 3 years 3 Likes |

Hello Teezkid Statement of purpose is a very important and compulsory document for a Canada study, visiting and spousal permit application.. In case you don't know, Canada doesn't conduct interview for Visa applicants unlike most developed countries, so the the tool you will use to sell yourself to the IRCC Visa officers is your SOP, since you won't be there physically to present yourself to the Visa Officer. Yes, I have also seen very few instances where applicants get PPR without submitting a Statement of purpose, but remember, no 2 application is the same.. There are many times the Visa Officer will refuse an application for a vague study plan and also purpose of visit, SOP is the major tool to knock off these refusal reasons.. Again, SOP is a very important document to include in your study permit application, and if you wanna apply without it cos very few have gotten PPR without it, then goodluck.. Ketima: Good day Please help with this, does 1year diploma course mean the person can work for 1year after school and can the person take family with them for a 1year diploma. Thanks |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Ketima: 4:01pm On Mar 26, 2022 |
BeejayB: Thanks BeejayB. For the BA, did you fill/use locator form? Heard and read is not needed again. Kindly confirm cos I need first hand experience info. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Ketima: 4:10pm On Mar 26, 2022 |
beebah83: For 1 year course, you get 1 year PGWP. As regards going with family, yes you can. Family of an international student is permitted to come stay with him/her via SOWP,VV etc. Just note that VO's may tend to question the rational behind going with the whole family for just a year course. But it doesn't mean that it isn't obtainable. I have actually seen a 1 year PGD course applicant get family approval, but haven't seen for Ordinary Diploma. So all you need is proper packaging of your application with concrete convincing reason(s) why you want to go with your family for such duration of course. |

Holuwatoyin201:Please, can you explain this "graduate bundle certificate" and how it works? Personally, I've not come across such thing in any Canadian college. Or, do you mean after 1 year program, you'll apply for another 1 year... Is that why you refer to it as graduate bundle certificate? Please, explain. |

Davidbanky: I don't have much idea on this, probably a PGD in French will suffice See the link below https://www.nairaland.com/5818588/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/75#90098757 You can also check College Boreal located in Sudbury (Northern Ontario) where they have a PGD/PG.CERT in French |

Good evening House. I registered online for my medical examination at IOM for February 01, 2022 but didn't go because I was busy and hadn't submitted my application. I have been finding it difficult to reschedule. Is it possible to go there and get examined even if my appointment date has expired? Attention: makano and other veterans. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Holuwatoyin201(f): 6:21pm On Mar 26, 2022 |
@ Toceen, Graduate bundle certificate is a program you apply for two proram for each year instead of reapplying after your 1st program, (you apply for two program with one application fee, and your Admission letter will the state two program. While Some college will ask if you want a future program after your current program (if you accept, then they will fix you up for a future program) To my understanding, let hear from the gurus in the house to help us give more insight about it. Thank you. Toceen2022: |
