I paid via WU global pay. I didn't include the reference code, but I uploaded the form. The bank will go through it and act accordingly.
But, you can add it to the beneficiary account name in brackets.
On the form A, you will see space for additional information. Indicate your reference number there. I hope this help!

Hello Professionals, kindly assist in this.

Did he apply through GCKey or the new Portal. If you applied through GCKey, then IMM 5257( schedule 1) is part of what you needed to fill and upload even though it was at the optional section of an application. It is in the optional section which is why you can actually submit your application without filling it. But your agent was wrong not to have included it. It takes nothing to add that. But I guess he cares not, as it wasn't his/her own.

Now my concern is, if he/she could leave the IMM 5257 form because it was in the optional section, I hope he uploaded your clients information document's in it's upload section as both are in the optional section of the application?

As a matter of fact, IMM 5257 is the temporary residence visa application form. So please kindly fill it and submit via webform and by mail ASAP.

Ketima:

For 1 year course, you get 1 year PGWP.

As regards going with family, yes you can. Family of an international student is permitted to come stay with him/her via SOWP,VV etc.

Just note that VO's may tend to question the rational behind going with the whole family for just a year course. But it doesn't mean that it isn't obtainable. I have actually seen a 1 year PGD course applicant get family approval, but haven't seen for Ordinary Diploma.

So all you need is proper packaging of your application with concrete convincing reason(s) why you want to go with your family for such duration of course.

The agent that helped me fill my application said TEMPORARY RESIDENCE FORM IMM5257E doesn't concern me.

Can I still send it via webform?

Good day Mr Frank, do you mean IELTS is not mandatory?
Frankrobbn1:

Majority of Universities in Canada do not require proof of English proficiency from Nigerians for they are aware the Nigeria is an English speaking country and as such this requirement is waived for Nigerian citizens.

It will end in praise

Good evening everyone, I have been following this trend as a silent reader for a while. I started my student permit application on the new portal but got confused as some point cos I applied as a group(family.). I intend going with my children since the eldest is 4 and d youngest 2. My question is do I have to apply for them on the new portal as well?

I will appreciate if anyone could direct me to a link to read from or kindly explain.

Please!

You welcome

Yes a PG.cert prog student can get a work permit

- A Work Permit which allows you to work partime
for 20 hrs/week during school session and up to 35-40 hours during school Breaks (holidays)

- If your Program has Co-op (work requirement in Study), like industrial training, you will get a Work permit for that at the Point of Entry (Canada's Airport).

Read more information about CO-OP in the link below
https://www.nairaland.com/5818588/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/152#91745933

- PGWP (Post Graduate Work Permit) - you apply for this when u graduate and can only be gotten once.

PGWP duratuon depends on your Program duration

If it's a 1 yr PG. Cert program, you get 1 yr PGWP
If it's a 2 years PG. Cert program you get 2 to 3 years PGWP

Hello Sir , I have applied to Conestoga college last week..But I have been waitlisted for two of the programs while there is still no decision on one. Is there anything I can do about the waitlisted program or I should just wait for there decision.

You just submitted last week. which means your application is still pretty much early..

Conestoga Admission drops in a month or two, so you will have to be patient for their Final decision.
