I was robbed few weeks ago.
On 11th this month. Here in Abuja wuse 2 by 3 hausa guys with knives
We were 4 in numbers on our to night dinner party
I was the only male in the midst of the 4 people.
While on our way going our car got spoilt ( over heating) by the side of the road we all came down and trying to let it cool off before we add water
. 20mins of waiting 3 armed hausa men just attacked me from behind. Note I was standing alone far from those ladies so i was attacked first. Initially I didn't knew what was happening because they were speaking hausa and one was holding my waist and I was busy pushing him away not until I look up and discovered that he was holding a knife pointing at me to stab me all these girls ran away I was the only one so I was trying my possible best to block myself from the knife trying to hold his hand but he kept swinging it. That's when I pushed him and and started running
they gave me a hot chase I fell down multiple times my phone fell off one of them picked it. I sustained bruises all over my body including dislocation in my upper arm region which I'm still nurturing till date . Have been in a state of depression all these while the trauma and everything keeps ringing in my head. Haven't been able to go to hospital to get myself treated because no enough cash with me again.
I would have been stab to death but I narrowly escaped. It's a miracle that I'm still alive now

I was coming back from work through a lonely road . This guy approached me with a machete, held me on the neck and asked me to bring whatever I had on me.

I don't know how God gave me courage. I just hit his hand of my neck and quickly crossed to the other side of the road .. The thief even shouted that I should be careful so that I will not be hit by a vehicle .

I crossed the road without looking ,but God saved me. The thief was even afraid that I might be hit by a car, that was why he shouted " be careful so that you don't get hit by a vehicle "

This made me to remember an urgly incident that happened to me when I was preparing for my WAEC in the year 2000 precisely January 4, 2000.

I was in my room solving different algebra and trigonometry till the wee hour around 3:00 am.
When it was 3:00 am I decided to sleep so that I could wake up so early to continue my calculations.

Around 3:20pm, I heard a very loud sound from the backyard, the armed robbers brake the back doors with the help of our grinding stone which was positioned outside.

When they gained access into the main building, they began to shout NOBODY MUST COME OUTSIDE their rooms, it was a face me I slap u apartments.

Suddenly, I opened my door and stepped out into the passage, one of the robbers flash his touch light on me and ordered me to returned into my room, unfortunately my other two brothers were not around as they have gone back to their schools. My dad and mum were in separate room and parlour. My sisters too were in their room. we have two tenants too who were in their rooms.

After few minutes, one of the robbers stepped into my room and asked me WEY THE MONEY DEM GIVE U. I told him that I don't have any money that I am still in ss3 preparing to write a national exam. He came closer to me and gave me a dirty and brain resetting slap, he thereafter pointed a small cut pistol at me and threatened to shoot me if I refused to give him money.

Truth to God, I did not have any money except the #60 that one of our tenants asked me to keep for her, because she did not want to spend it.

Immediately after the slap and the gun that was pointed at me I remembered jeje and I went to where I kept the money inside my suit hung on the hanger and gave him the money.

He stepped out of my room immediately and they went to rob my parents too.

I really thank God for the gift of life

Instantly the alcohol clear for my eye me when just dey reach Lagos my skeleton nearly left my body because of fear my guy was busy negotiating for SIM card. Thank God na only our iPhones and money them obtain.

The second one was in Mayfair roundabout in Ile Ife this time around it was 5 guys them beat me ehn my life remain 5seconds I swr those Ediots for kill me that night na phone call save me they thought I was their target cause I had his height (them plan the person come)

I don't want to go in details but I was attacked by three idiots in the night in a house around 2 am, I was sleeping woke up to three dudes with torchlight very bright, they were searching everywhere. First instinct was fight them off I don't know how but I was able to push 3 of them out of the room with punches untill I started feeling dizzy. yup! I was stabbed 3 times and blood was gushing and it was getting cold. Bottom line, they packed everything, I walked to the hospital that night on foot I don't know how but I got there and I keep winderingv how the Bleep I'm alive. Its 3 years now but I Steel feel slight pains due to some dead muscles in my rib sidee due to severe beatings i recieve and yeah they had a gun but I'm pretty sure it was a toy gun cause they would have shoot me when I was fighting since I hit all of them on the face.

My own experience happened in 2010. I was traveling back to Awka (unizik) cos school has resumed.

I boarded PMT at Ojuelegba, and that was during the era of ore road, we've all heard nasty tales about how dangerous and notorious that road was. The road was an eyesore and was littered with hoodlums and criminals who rob passengers with reckless abandon.

We left Ojuelegba by past 7am to and got to ore by 9pm cos of the traffic.

The driver now decided to park at a local motel so we can pass the night there and continue our journey at first light the following day. We all agreed cos we knew how notorious that area was especially at night.

By 3:am this silly PMT driver started horning for us to board that he has to be in Enugu by 7am cos it's his turn to load Lagos.

We told him it's still very early and dangerous, he rudely told us that he doesn't care that if we want to remain at the motel he would leave us and go.

So we boarded back the bus and continued our journey, to be honest, I was scared. Very scared.

We passed through ore and entered Benin, as we got to the benin bypass, I heard 3 loud gunshots, the worst had happened.

The robbers blocked our way with planks, tires and fired sporadically into the air to scare off anyone around.

Our driver halted the bus and they asked us to alight and lie on the ground, they ransacked everyone, phones, cash, shoes, wristwatches...etc were all taken.

My only joy was that the bus was filled with female students in fact more than 80% of the passengers were girls, yet no one was ràped.

After robbing us, they left us lying face down on the road and made they way into the bush. We go up, counted our losses, insulted the living hell out of the driver and moved on.

We got to unizik junction by 9am, that was an experience I will never forget.

Omoh last year November that same squad came to Rob at my street with awka made, nah so the fool wey carry gun pull trigger e no go far, he started running but boys hold 3 ransom for water side, tie them with marine rope inside water for 5 7 days.

Yes, I have been held at gun point, the boys wanted to rob me and my friend, my friend quickly gave them her bag, they requested for my bag, I refused, I struggled with them a little, before I could say Jack, I received a resounding factory resetting slap that made me release the bag to them, cause I really do not know what came over me for me to have the morale to be dragging my bag with armed criminals, they could have shot me at the spot.

My cheek hurt for 2 days cause of that slap.
This happened years ago when I was still a student.

He didnt feel the need to atrack them again and so we all came out of it with our lives ... but dem flog the next car that they stopped.. they flogged the driver like a cow .. you know fulani are well trained in flogging from childhood ... when they started flogging the other car driver and I could hear the branch strike flesh ... I was almost shat myself.

They even popped the wine my oldman was keeping to decorate his bar, that was when I realised fulani dey shayo!
