Have a lawyer write them that if they don't send a retraction sms to all your contacts within specified number of days, you will sue them for defamation and also report them to NITDA and the consumer protection agency.

But if you really have money to sue you can go ahead and sue while also reporting them to the 2 federal government agencies above

As much as I hate these Loan sharks with a passìon il also blame you for not fulfilling your payment obligations when you know this particular company is NOTORIOUS for this.

Even if it means borrowing from family or anywhere to pay them off you should have done so because they helped you at your time of need so it only ethical to pay them because that's what they use to feed. Some people are actually criminals who would never want to pay what they owe.

So defaulting terms and conditions is clear and until you default for 3 months, it is not an issue, you interest only compounds. After tha then they can start looking at legal ways of negotiating the loans, if that does not work then they take legal loan recovery steps.
Defamation is never in any agreement anywhere.

I'm the OP and the person they defamed. I've read the terms and conditions cover to cover (a very long read indeed) and there is nothing like defamation of character written there if one defaults in payment.

But even if it isn't stated in their terms and conditions? Are u not aware that they defame their debtors?
