Fantastic girl. But I am afraid she will kill herself with over labour. While you are lying to the boss's boss, you are just confident to tell her the whole truth.

Motivates and does the job.

My current boss.

He's very humane.

He's a leader in the true sense of the word. He ensures that your time at the company is beneficial to your career growth whether or not you remain with the organization.

His can-do spirit, and drive for efficiency is amazing.

**********
Small buts...

He can be temperamental, and a bit impatient sometimes.

But not anything serious.

And I suspect he privately rebukes himself when he's sober.

R.A the best boss. He's not just a boss but a teacher. He's an engineer extraordinary. Unlike other bosses, he will give you a project to handle and teach you how to succeed on the project..

He encourages and equip you as well. He was my very first boss. I learnt so much from him...

Types Of Boss You Will Meet And How To Handle Them
As you progress in the professional world, you tend to work with different bosses – the good, the bad and the ugly.
. As a matter of fact, some bosses are so nice that you will always be happy while going to the office.

However, when you work with some terrible boss, you may regret ever joining the organization. Those that have worked with these people before can definitely relate.

You may actually be working in a great organization with juicy pay, but your boss can make going to work a nightmare for you. Irrespective of how hard you work, they never appreciate your effort. They always look forward to criticizing you and your job.

However, in this article, you will learn about the types of boss you will meet and how to handle them.

7 Types Of Boss You will Meet And How To Handle Them

#1. The Motivational Boss

Some Bosses are just too good. They always inspire you to carry out your task effectively and always correct in the most polite manner.

These bosses always put you first before considering themselves and are more concerned about your wellbeing. They are the best boss ever.

Note: Don’t try to take the simplicity of these bosses for stupidy, as you will see the demonish part of them. They will definitely use you as a scapegoat to other people around.

#2. The Inadequate Boss

This is also one of the types of boss you will meet. He is grossly inadequate and has no business with leading a team. As a matter of fact, he has no skill, no knowledge not even a leadership charisma, yet he is the boss.

Sometimes, an inadequate boss will have no idea of what to do in certain situations. However, instead of bad mouthing and proving to the world how inadequate this boss, make yourself useful to him.

Try to help him with critical tasks and this will make him rely on you over time. With this, people around will be noticing you including your boss’s boss, decision-makers and other top-notch executives.

#3. The Dictator

The Dictator is Mr. Know it all. They don’t listen to anybody’s opinion, rather they order everybody around. To put it differently, a dictator boss will always treat employees like a pawn in the game of chess. They will expect you to do exactly what you are told without an input.

You can actually change the game if you are working with a dictator. Try to always take ownership of the little task they assigned to you and do it beyond their expectation. With this, they will be delegating better task for you and this will make you a superstar employee in no time.

#4. The Blamer

A blamer is a boss who never takes responsibility for his actions. Interestingly, he will always acknowledge praise and direct criticism towards his subordinate.

What annoys me most about a blamer boss is that he never takes time to identify the cause of a problem, rather he just blames someone else for the team’s failure.

When working with a blamer always have facts and figures available at all time. Whenever he blames you on a particular issue, identify the problem and suggest a possible solution.

#5. The Credit Stealer

The credit stealer will always take all the credit for executing a particular project. They never acknowledge the fact that it is a team work, they take the credit and move on. Sadly, they will not even congratulate the employees for a work well done, he will just behave as if he did everything all alone. Oops! the credit stealer is always very annoying.

#6. The Toxic Boss

You don’t need a soothsayer to know that the toxic boss is the worst types of boss you will meet. There is no polite word in a toxic boss’s diction, in fact, verbally abusing employee is his second nature.

They make the office environment very hostile, unconducive and contribute to the low productivity of staff. It is always advisable to start looking for a new job when you are working with a toxic boss. Otherwise, you will be working with fear, we all know where that will lead to.

#7. The Eye Service Mafia

The eye service mafia is also among the types of bosses you will meet. They are generally very nice and guide you properly on the job. However, once they see their superior around, they will use you to shine.

In other words, they will want to scold you and make you feel incompetent so that their boss will applaud them for being effective in their supervisory capacity

Mr. Oludiran of S.O. Oludiran & Co.

The man will say "Thank you" like 10 time for anything you do for him despite paying your salary.
Salary payment was timely every time.
The only fear you have is that you don't want to disappoint him, not the fear of my boss is coming let the heart be silent.
A very coolheaded man

No matter how toxic you are as a Boss, when you meet me your toxicity will disappear.

Reasons
1. I can work with the devil, Judas and Jesus at once without issues.

2. I don't give a fxck about you. Just deliver my job and get out.

However, there's was this woman( my supervisor) I worked with. Her toxicity is out of this world. Upon all my scope on her, she still wanted to treat me like others. Though she succeeded at some point then I had to bring out the other side of me she never knew.

To cut it short, I was removed from her department but we still work in the same block.

She decided to make friends with me. But as real niggarr, I Don't give a fxck about her. Sometimes when she greats me, I would ignore her.

Meanwhile, Any time I decide to great her she seems very happy and would want to initiate a conversation. Then I would discharge her with scope.

Hmm.
Mr Segun Falowo at Amicable College. Manager-personified.

He will see something in the premises and won't talk about it. But the day he will broach the matter, you yourself will be extra-shocked.
He has a good temperament and his people management skills is top-notch
I learnt so many things from him... Especially, how he laughs off seemingly burning issues and then address them without offending sensibilities.

Hmmmmmm.
My late boss... A woman with extraordinary qualities and a heart of gold. She treated me like I'm her son. I never touched my salary the period I worked with her. She's amongst the few bosses then that paid overtime.

She was always sending me on an errand with enough tips... She had so much trust in me that even when her banking signature became irregular as a result of old age she refused to go to the bank and rectify it but rather gave me access to her account.

Her affection for her workers was not extended to only me but to every of her staff. I have never seen her shout at any of the workers. But she can abuse you (in a funny way though) when you misbehave

Emenike Ezenduka currently with Sterling Bank. The best of the best
zeenaman:
Last week, a topic was trending about toxicity in workplace, and the experiences shared by people were inundating. That's not to say there are no good places to work in Nigeria. There are some organizations in Nigeria that have international standard when it comes to employees welfare, but as Nigerians that we are, we only dwell on toxic places and make it look like there are no good bosses anywhere in Nigeria.

I believe what's sauce for the goose is also sauce for the gander. With that said, let's celebrate our good bosses and organizations on this thread. Share your experience working with a good boss and organization

When you work with a good and loving boss, you could just forget about your life's goal and begin to chase Oga's priorities and ambitions for as long as the Oga remains with you in the organisation.

That's how to know you are working for a good person. His goals becomes your goals. His family becomes your family and your family issues becomes his issues.

I found myself in that situation until I had a change of plan for my life.

It can also be bad and extreme sometimes if not checked on time.

I love all my bosses to pieces...
