Women who stroll into hotel lounges in Benin all by their lonesome are being single handedly applauded by their patrons.In some cases if they have not settled the local hotel love-vendor they are quickly hustled out into the hot sun to seek their business elsewhere.


This is in contrast to the recent eviction of single ladies in popular hotels across the country as Hoteliers take on the oldest profession on Planet Earth.These hoteliers see these single ladies who are not hotel guest as hustlers and hussies who are out to shake down the unsuspecting
men posing as professionals when in truth they are Ladies of The night or Nightwalkers.They are usually dressed to kill with flashy cars like
SUVs , they sometimes move in packs posing as rich students or Bankers etc .
But in a gruesome twist young men who stroll into certain hotels in benin are told politely or impolitely to leave as the stigma of young men with
laptops sends the yahoo yahoo signal that they are there to transact business online in public places .
A reporter was about to check his email and post a few articles at a certain hotel in GRA Benin Edo State ( whose owner is a well known scammer) its a woman's
name we wont say it loud ! (benin na yawa town ! ) When he was told that "sorry Sir we dont allow people to use their laptops in the lounge !" . It was
after conferring with the Hotel manager and showing his ID card and the sites he was working on that he was eventually allowed to use his laptop .I wonder if blackberries are allowed !
My question is would a yahoo yahoo boy be so bold to go and transact his business in public ? or is this hotelier trying to distance himself from the
proceeds of his crime now shrouded in a number of real estate deals ? Lets be Real people !
