i am almost in tears right now....Cameroon fought like warriors and soldiers tonight. Algeria thought they have qualified and started wasting time just like Ghana did but the Cameroonians refused to be deterred and within seconds grabbed the bull by the horns. Best Match of the CAF qualifiers. Onana the Cameroonian keeper was superb and kept Cameroon in the game.. MOTM for me.. God bless Cameroon. thats why they are the most successful African country in the World cup

Most successful? How? Senegal got to QF at their first try. Ghana did the same at their 2nd attempt. How many attempts did Cameroon make before they got to QF?

Nigeria missing out of Qatar 2022 should bring sigh of relief to all Nigerians. Nigerians placed so many expectations on the national team and when they lose, it brings stress and headache to fans back in Nigeria. The just concluded African cup of Nations is an example. Every Nigerian expected the National team to win African cup of Nations and when they lost in the first round of knockout series, i hardly read stories about the Eagles. And i hardly watched other matches with interest. So, in Qatar 2022 the pressure of worrying about Nigeria winning is off. And that means i will be watching all the games and not afraid to see negative headlines--talking about Nigeria.

The play off is better cos it will eliminate weak teams that wouldn't perform well at the world cup.

Just take a look at the current Nigerian team, what would they have done at the world cup except to disgrace us out of the group stages?

It's better for them to fail at home than to fail at the global stage. The play off is a good idea.
