I've said it here before, respect is very important in football, who have to respect your opponent, failure to this will destroy your team. I used Pep Guardiola has an example, despite being an extraordinary coach in addition to the perfect and brilliant players under his control, Pep would always give respect to the opponent even if the opponent were Dakkada united or Wikki tourist, Pep would never underestimate the opponent, same with the fans and city players. Ghana coming into this game were at their lowest, accepted. But you on the other hand ain't Barcelona of 2009-2021. You are not. We bottled a 4-0 lead at home to unseeded Sierra leone. We draw an important match at home to an unseeded Cape Verde. We lost at home to an unseeded Central Africa republic. We lost in a knockout game against Tunisia (an opponent with more than 10 important players unavailable due to covid) All these happened in just 4-5 months. With the above sequence, you need to realize that our team isn't great, not a team to brag with. But no, the useless supporters were out there trolling, bragging and all. we are going to kill them in kumasi Ghana no be am. That game nah work over, our bredas don't know what is about to hit them Who laugh last laughs best. You can have a shitty team, and be bragging about. The Ghana I saw in both leg were the better side, way better. Good keeper (though the guy was not calm) A solid defense Calm mildfield And the forward department was not too bad. 6 Likes |

He gave a last warning and minute later he was giving another final warning he wasn't the reason we drew but he definitely was not on our side. 1 Like |

Daniel Amartey, a natural midlfelder come bench warmer at leicester city had a field day in both leg. The Ghanaian defense could be liken to a disciplined version of Carvajal-Ramos-Pepe-Marcelo. Great. |

Joebie:Meanwhile the deed has been done. What next? I see us having lots of opportunities for friendlies before the WC as some of the WC participants might like to play against us to have a feel of Senegal, Cameroun and our big bredas (for now). Those games should be a chance to restart and get ready for the next ANC. 1) who will be the next coach, delay would be dangerous, I would personally prefer an expat, doesn't even need to be famous yet. But one who is ambitious with big balls. Or maybe we could try that Nigerian born guy who they say coaches or once coached in Turkey. 2) one thing for sure, Pinnick shouldn't be sacked because otherwise we get banned by FIFA 3) I would think Musa, Ighalo and even Balogun should retire but we shall see. We need to start thinking about the next four years. 4) we need a new goalkeeper coach, we need to scout for at least 2 other solid goalies and then let them battle it out with the current Folorunsho ( na God dey guard) that we have. |

Semid4lyfe or whatever you call yourself. Ogun go kee you. Please ban me for life make thunder nor fire you. Idiot. Why are unbanning me now bro? To celebrate or mourn in you people's misery? Please keep me away from your rotten negative bad energy here. You dey crase. You banned me and kept (protected) your friends who instigated an unprovoked violent attack against me for airing my opinion. They ganged up, insulted my mother, called me mad and a psychiatrist patient, said all sort of inhuman things and you wanted me to remain mute, because I aired my views? I didn't insult them, I didnt attack them, they didnt like my view, they didnt have my topnotch logical reasoning to handle a discussion, and then attacked me verbally. All you could do after I defended myself was to ban me and protect your friends. Ogun kee your generation. You dey mad. You even had the guts to block and hid the comments of those who stood up to your babaric actions in my defence, thinking I was the one. Lol. I won't ever roll with low life Idiot like those here in my life again, ever. What a set of low lifers. People who are not constant on their opinion. People who can attack but get annoyed when they are attacked. People who say all sort of things here about our players but you dare not say anything about their favs. I watched as the one who calls himself AndrewPikin called me purple cow, mad man, demeaning words, but what did you do? You throwey face Semid4life. You watched as He kept insulting me even when I begged him to leave me alone, he refused. But later came here and be runing round saying NOBODY INSTIGATED ME. You dey mad AndrewPikin. Ogun kee you and your generation. Idiots. I watched as the olosho here called me names and asked me to be thrown out for defending myself from their "imposing authoritative MINDSET" as if they own this place, you followed their instructuon like a brostitute that you are Semid4lyfe. Ode. I wonder who una think say una be here. Bunch of flies. You lot can't handle or like people who can stand up to your bossy attitudes here. No wonder almost everyone here have a defeatist mentality, like they don't have a voice of their own anymore.. Like some folks here are top citizens and others are low class citizens... Bunch of animal farmers. You think you will treat me like shit and i'll stay shut? If this was'nt a forum some of you for don miss tey tey. Animals forming bossy. Semid4lyfe, ban me for life and keep your houseboy position to yourself and the rest houseboys here, im not in you people's leagues. Im too big to be here in animal farm with lowlifers forming push. Since we're now rebuilding, i suggest we sack Eguavoen as TD asap ( I wonder why he hasn't tendered his resignation) and replace him with a Mike Emenalo or Seyi Olofinjana to help in rebuilding and managing our National teams. I heard John Utaka is an academy coach in France if he has all the UEFA and FIFA qualifications, we should also call him to manage one of our teams. I don't know if Vincent Enyeama is a licensed Goalkeeper Trainer, but i believe we need him too to replace Alloy Agu. Also let's get a good foreign coach. He must not be a SAF, Guadiola or Mourinho, and tha's where a Mike or Seyi will come in and help us get good foreign coach. Amunike, Finidi can assist the foreign coach. 4 Likes |

I guess NFF has elections later in the year. That will be an excuse not to bring the expat coach that you want. Most likely Amuneke will continue with the team. I expect Eguavoen to return to his previous role. I just hope Amuneke will be giving a free hand to appoint his assistants. That’s the way forward for now. Hopefully, Pinnick loses out on the election and we get a forward thinking administrator who ALSO has interests in the grassroots. AndSunGorilla: 1 Like |

I was having a banter with my Italian friend and he said he slept off during the Italy vs North Macedonia game because it was very boring and when he woke up he was shocked to the tooth to see that they had been knocked out by the small country. Maybe our case was better. But then it is lessons learned for us. Sacking Rohr eventually proved to be a great mistake because we had no quality replacement. All we had was someone who gave us that illusion of attacking football we had always wanted. Hopefully better luck at next year's Afcon. 2 Likes |

leathalbeast:Why didn’t you guys beat Nigeria? Partey, the goalie & one other midfielder in the first half were the only exceptional ones. A draw is mediocre result Both teams aren’t tactically sound. A coin was tossed that’s why Japan luckily picked the second ticket in their group ahead of Senegal in the last WC. Senegal had a win, a draw & a loss They had all their stats tied with Japan |
