Please did anybody do any dollar transaction with access bank on the 29th of this month.(Yesterday)
Apparently I bought something on the 12th this month at 557n to a dollar, I was issued a full refund on the 14th of this month from site(takes about 5 business days to show)
I made another purchase on the 16th at 557n to $
And then the rate came down to 498$ a $, on the 17th cause I made another purchase
The Refund Finally showed up 29th (11 working days) after series of complaints, at a lower price (470n to $)
it’s usually same amount in naira for refund, it’s not my first full refund.
Went to CC inside bank to complain they said they are using the rate the day the money entered, not issued, and they said their rate was 470 yesterday.
Which I doubt, cause I called CC later that day, to lay same complain (yesterday), she said it’s cause of FX rate, asked her to check what the current rate for the day is, she said 505, I told her to do the maths. She did, and she said she’s coming, taking so long so I hung up.
So summary is, did anyone do any dollar transaction yesterday with Normal access Debit card?

When their rate was 470, Refund was same 470, I told cc to check yesterday rate, she said she can't it's only today, at 505, told her there's no way it can jump from 470 to 505 under 24hrs. She said she'll log in the complaint, so I'm waiting for the outcome, How will they be using old rate for refunds but the newer rate for purchase.
Even if it does differ, it can't be 470, it's usually minus 10 or 5.
If refund were at 498n sef, I no for too complain, but 470?, I'm just guessing they didn't update their refund rate. For all banks is usually fixed, cause I get refunds on other cards, it's a refund, they are not selling the dollar back, it's like a reversal or canceled transaction.
Or let's say you buy something on AliExpress for $100(50,500), then seller cancels because out of stock, and then bank refunds (47,000). E no tap, my own come be at 557n.

Never had a case of refund coming in lower since it's usually debited in naira, like POS transaction.
I just need the screenshot for when cc is like "the rate on 29th was 470", and I'm then like "baaaam, explain this", Cause most times CC be acting as if customer no get sense.
