Re: Any Reviews For Konnect Africa by Ournolly: 7:40am On Mar 31, 2022 |
georgee:Cost me about 95k to get the equipment, the installation and the 30mps plan (15k). Then I paid 28k for router. The network is great and stable and according to my plan, my bandwidth will be reduced to 3mps in the peak period once I hit the allocated data size but night time (10pm to 6am) is always free. |
Re: Any Reviews For Konnect Africa by Ournolly: 8:01am On Mar 31, 2022 |
For my active plan the data time speed test will always give me between 20 to 25 mps. Sometimes a bit less and some other time a bit more. Off peak period is always 24 to 30mps. I stream 4k videos @30fps without issue but tend to struggle with 4k @60fps. My current speed. Time taken 7:30 am 1 Share

georgee:Also, since you live in Surulere, why not go for Fibre to Home Internet? Fibre services is always more stable, much better ping and always unlimited. If you are into online gaming please forget konnect. Vsat is NOT for online gaming. 2 Likes |

UPDATE!!! I thought I should give a ‘final’ update after months of being an active subscriber, I’ve enjoyed this satellite internet. I use it for mainly streaming on Netflix and work and it’s being awesome I must say. My only problem has been when it rains, it practically stops so its useless when it’s raining, The Nepa people bring low current in my area so I have problem because it has to be a normal electricity before it works, anything less and I’m not browsing. Generally I’ll recommend it, if you’re not a gamer. And stay away from that 6900 naira plan, I tried it and it got exhausted the same day and I’ve stuck to the 9900 naira plan since then 2 Likes |

Hi everyone, Helpful reviews here. I am also planning to join the Konnect train. I am based in Igando but work for an international org from home. I use Swift unlimited, Etisalat and Airtel, but when we are on calls, my voice comes on like 10 seconds after I have spoken. Because of my, they stopped video calls in my department, still I get internet problems. Now when we wan do call, na prayer and fasting. I plan to retain my Swift unlimited for our Netflix and Youtube use. Those are our only sources of entertainment. I also want to get the Konnect for work use so I will not exceed the FUP. Is Konnect still ok? I also have issues with the weather thingy. I read somewhere that rain affects it a lot. I just wish I stayed somewhere better so I could do fibre to home. |
