...HOLD!

A food for thought while at it...
Assuming you were given a life-changing nutritional health guide by a Doctor to take at least 2 strawberries for 3 months.

Week 1;
Strawberries sold for N200 and you could only afford to buy 2 of it.

Week 2;
For lack of much funding, you could not buy any... plus, you worry about how the price of the fruit might soon go beyond your reach when seasonal constrain eventually create a supply-demand disequilibrium.

Week 3;
An unexpected window of opportunity comes up for you to buy enough strawberry when a certain supply line decided to sell off on their inventory position, perhaps to meet other ancillary needs.

What would you do?
Well, I'll surely seek out for means to buy more strawberry!
That "supplier" might not have need for it at the time, but I do... it can be life-changing for me you remember!
Perhaps the amount of strawberries you can accumulate might just be what you need to see you through the rest of the week until the 90 days as set out by the Doctor.

A good fellow just sent me their YE, 2021 financial print. (ref: IB PLC)
Some may not see that the latest report is an improvement. They may focus only on the SPL and not see the fine lines in btw and elsewhere. wink cheesy cool
Hope they exit quickly, so value investment mongers can feast off from what is left before the time of reckoning.

Dear Onegentleguy and anyone feeling slighted by some posts.

Follow this Buddha teachings: Silence isn't empty; It is full of answers.

By the way OGG, I can see PZ doing its thing. Kudos on that pick.

Thanks Rabbi!
Apologies for the late revert. ...been really busy lately.

I can assure you I DO NOT feel slighted at all bro. In the past, maybe... but not anymore... not even a tiny bit!
I was only a bit disappointed with fellows (like @ Currentprice/Toluway) who indirectly but advertently joined in mocking my person. ...I forgive though.
Will not call out or try to attack anyone in return. ...I just smile when I read certain posts. wink cheesy grin
Let me address certain stuffs though;

One would've thought that if you tag someone a fake analyst, you engage them (as the real/true analyst that you are) by putting out constructive and logical arguments to bring matters to the fore and enlighten everyone.
But NO, people seem to become "fake analyst" using a certain comical "gandalfollic" yardstick!
Think it was its subset, the GVM (gandalfollic valuation method) that prompted a buy as against a sell on UBA back then and is also now signalling for a sell as against a buy.
Apparently, a failed "adventure" with UBA is one of the bone of contention but I have since said that I am not Sir Tony E. (really wish I was) wink cheesy grin

Anyway don't worry @ GANDALF1... I forgive you, your replicant and your cohorts too.
Some will "portend to like you" with one profile I.D but "hate or act indifferent" with another. It's funny how up until now, they're still not down for the count.
Forthrightness and honesty is always like a cakewalk and necessary for peace of mind if you ask me.
I know the few that act in disguise but I have since decided to play along and be NICE.

After all its not the first time and may not be the last. Unless of course you decide to henceforth, lead a more mature, rational and amenable life.
But hey! just know that I'll still forgive should you decide against putting on a new/worthy personality.

You'd be as likely to catch lightening in a bottle as you would trying to palm off or set out on a false smear campaign and expect result.
I can only advise (for your sake) you direct your energy towards more valuable courses going forward.
Whatever you decide on though, just know that am good with y'all! ...including the few who probably see us as a stumbling block and think our continues presence here diminishes their relevance and often connected narcissistic intent in the grand scheme of things. (I know... but am cool)

Occasionally, I've also been briefed of how some persons (same cohorts) on 2 what's up platforms would rather prefer to (often indirectly but sometimes privately) make one a matter of discuss than discussing the matter on hand at the time.
In here, some would prefer to "engage themselves" or play ludicrous pranks to indirectly seek attention. Pride and ego will not let these ones be open and direct.
Even some individuals who time and again had benefited from our guide and recommendations sometimes join in the attack.
Several funny stuff and more, but I can only forgive though. ...and quite frankly, I truly forgive them!
The relationship between cruelty and how people stew from their own juice is why we need to forgive, leave it to their conscience and allow Devine to take care of the rest.

Think it's best to stay FOCUSED.
As I always say; Like or dislike Onegentleguy, he will continue to do his thing. ...with all honesty and sincerity of purpose though.
Heaven knows I hold absolutely nothing against anyone!

I don't know why it's people with nothing to contribute that makes the loudest noise. Keep quiet, no. Say something useful, no. What kind of thing is this?

As I've often stated here in times past, folks should pls be careful with what they assimilate and act upon.
60% of the time, the post you see here are crafted with an intent to distract and align your thinking in a certain way... with over half of that time not without egocentrism.
Happily, there is the other lot of posts (40%) that are from great minds and good fellows. ...kudos to y'all. Respect fellows!

I aim to engage with the good fellows as we collectively learn and relearn on our way to excellence.
To help achieve that though, one would need all the focus in the world. ...and to stay focused, you need to be quick to forgive those "on the other side of the divide" if you know what I mean.
It's one of the few things i've learnt in life.

More importantly, forgiveness is an effective tool to ensure you do not burn your bridges while seeking to lead a better and virtuous life. There's really nothing in this life bro.
Let's forgive them all. But for anything, we owe that much to Devine. ...only he should judge!
There's a reason life will always eventually present one with the "bed they make" and then, one will have to lie on it!

@ RabbiDoracle, yes PZ is now living up as expected.
Remember highlighting that folks should sell off the coy @ near N12 and seek to buy back @ N4+. (also maintained same stand even after it dropped to N7+ back then)
Some fellows keyed in @ </=N5.

As I mentioned in a recent post, FVE could rise from previous guide of N10+ to N14.7 should their financial print come in good... which turned out so. (ref: N15.91 FVE + HM premium < surrounding risk @ present)
I will however gradually seek an exit plan at this time if I have a short term mindset, especially @ that N10-11+ range.
Long term players may decide to hold though. There are stuffs we mentioned about PZ here.

And less I forget, I can see that things are gradually falling in place in the global mkt sphere as it relates to top-down impact on select EMs.
Think the epistle will be a bit too long if I put it out here. wink cheesy grin
...you are doing great bro.
It is well.

If i express in details how much i have gained from the NSE just by digging out OGG's post in 2020 and aligning with all his recommended stocks, folks will think he paid me to advertise his expertise. My only regret is that i sold off several of those stocks due to 'naysayers' on this thread doubting the accuracy of his analysis. With the benefit of hindsight, I am wiser now and even if it rains katanga, i stick with OGG's picks 'cos i know in the long run (may be not short term), I'll be better for it. wink

By the way, I noticed some folks have been basking on the assertion that the current mkt state from weeks ago has lead to "a Bonanza".
Math is not that difficult naw. wink cheesy grin

• Over 61% from the list of sound fundamental coys we've analyzed and highlighted here in time past have in fact delivered great returns within the same time... FIDELITY, ETI, PRESCO, OKOMU, UCAP, UACN, MTN, SEPLAT, AIRTELAF etc (refer to my many past posts for guidance)

• Factor back in the dividend cash flow for certain other fundamentally healthy assets (mostly mkt movers/shakers) like ZENITH, GTCO, UBA, VITAFOAM, and several other mid and small cap coys and you'll notice that most stocks have either gained a minot %, remained relatively stable or lost only a small %.
...all within an inequality band range of </=9.13%--</=6.79% max loss to gain for at least 74% of the fundamentally sound coys that have been marked down for dividend.

• Near 53% of quoted coys have remained relatively unchanged. ...with less than a 1/5 (circa 19.73%) of the total coys that made it to the losers chart down by just within a 15.8-29.3% range. (with only UPDC, TRANSCORP and IB amongst top on the list)

Inference:
Not much has changed in the past weeks.
There is a reason the downtrend thus far has been broadly below surrounding risk (ref: >inflation adjusted peg against RRM) for over 80% of the fundamentally healthy coys.

There was really no Bonanza.
Pls kindly give me GTB, ZENITH, UCAP, PRESCO, OKOMU, ACCESS, UBA, VITAFOAM etc at 62-71% below their CMPs, before you think of talking about a Bonanza. wink cheesy grin
It's been a broadly sideways mkt.

Just keep leading and improving on that strategy that suits your investment personality and goals and you will be fine.
Stay FOCUSED folks!

For many, these selfless analyses of yours and of other contributors here are beyond hints for making profit, but avenues for enlightenment/education. Much appreciated always.

I was really trying hard to see what bonanza was being talked about when I started seeing some posts here starting on Monday. It might be quite misleading to regard 5% drop in price as bonanza. If my average entry price in Zenith is N24, its current price might need to drop to as low as N17 (almost ~30%) to make a meaningful impact on my average entry price (if the units bought at low price is significant when compared to existing units). If we are not seeing such drastic drops in price, many of the conclusions here might just be overblown, and sadly just for the purpose of discouraging members who spend time and efforts to educate everyone else here.

We might be enjoying stocks being traded much below their fair value or near-term potentials, but that does not qualify a 2-5% drop in price (over the course of a week) as a "bonanza".

WEMA has declared a dividend of 24k per/s... an approx 34.6% pay out ratio. (EPS of 69.3k)
Factoring in the reverse stock split exercise of 3 for 1 which moved up it's equity peg from 92k to N2.76 and shoved down the coys OS by the same margin.

So by implication, WEMA' effective DPS computes to 8k assuming status quo before the reverse stock split.
...that's a 2x/100% jump from previous yr guide (ref: 4k for YE 2020 in view)
DY @ approx 8.7% at present.

Not bad though.
But one more to go!

@ meine meine...
awaken with another profile. grin grin grin

Anyway if indeed you are saying that UBA has performed better than ACCESS from the time we advised folks to swap more of the former for the latter, then you probably need to work on your math.

Now let me help you;
At the time, both were selling for near the same price with UBA slightly ahead of ACCESS (circa 4.9% and 7%) on a MtD and YtD average respectively.
Fast forward to a few months down the line and UBA would go on to declare a woeful interim and final yr dividend amidst a below par financial print. (ref: YE, 2020 in view)
ACCESS on the hand did far better on both front (div and performance)... and the result was a steady push up in price.
At some point, the equity price of ACCESS was even ahead of UBA by >N3.

If you really understood matters then, I said that there was a need to swap or at the very least increase one's portfolio weighting in ACCESS ahead of UBA until such a time when there is an improvement in UBA.
I also said that UBA' next 2 financial print will tell me if they do. (ref: beginning H1, 2021)

Again if you have been following my post, I did highlight the positive following UBA' Q3, 2021 report and knew they were going to improve on their payout.
The reason I advised buying, not selling before the banks YE, 2021 report.
UBA in 2021 was clearly different from UBA in 2020.
Make no mistake though; While UBA has improved, ACCESS despite it's slightly lower div payout, is still ahead of it for now and has undoubtedly also delivered much better return since then.

You need to learn to change once you can spot a change in tide.
That's what SWAPING or what I call weighting swing does. ...especially within same P2P coys.
It helps you rebalance your portfolio where and when necessary to maximize gains and ensure steady growth in overall value.

Some folks amassed great gains swapping more UBA for ACCESS back then.
I know at least 4 persons (a HNI and 4 other members here) who did. wink cheesy grin
The added gain from ACCESS from the move was then put back in UBA when we saw the tide change (post Q3, 2021)

The problem was that you ignored logical reasoning and allowed your emotion get the better of you at the time.
As I've said in the past; Onegentleguy will not put out a post, view and/or recommendation just for the sake of it.
He has personal proof-working financial models... though not perfect, but effective and tested with no less than an 80% success rate. (I say this with all humility though)

I'd prefer to ignore some of the things you said in-between. I consider them trivial.
I don't bother about certain things with folks who don't know me. Those who truly know me can tell of my disposition.

I hope you do better at managing your portfolio going forward.

"In the stock market world, the real winners are those who can prioritize their TRADE SETUP ahead of the ASSET PROFILE, and a little more than the quest for REWARD.
While the 2nd may define your INVESTING POWER, it is the 1st that gives you a BARGAINING POWER !!
...for without it, the other can only engage the market in a mere "fight" but also concede more victories to it"

UPDCREIT: since those guys took over this company, it has been falling. Now they have declared a serious loss.
Once highly profitable company under UACN. Chai.

Caused by real estate reevaluation. The investment properties were over valued by about N5 billion, reason for the hair cut
