[s]so how did the officer deduce the cousinship? Biko don't let the person overcomplicate issue. somewhere somehow, there was a mention of cousin for the officer to pick up on it and that falls under misrepresentation aka lying. Ignorance is really not an excuse and the person cannort claim the form was not filled by them because they agreed to the declaration.[/s] Just explain in an LOE the truth as it is and hope for the best. I saw @graciouswords response to you and cancelled some of mine aizebe: 1 Like |

Chimzy4real: The easiest and fastest route to get an additional degree is through a Pre-HND program from Kings Polytechnic, it cost about 250k altogether and would be ready within a month (according to them). When I was in your shoes, I opted for BCS cert in IT because I have an IT background and I didn't want to spend that much, at the end of the day, I didn't pass BCS, as a matter of fact, none of all the people that I know personally and wrote with pass all the 3 papers at once. I lost interest in BCS and fell back on the PreHND. To cut long story short, if you're ready to study well and wait a few months, opt in for BCS, CIMA and the likes. But If you're after a certificate that will be ready asap, try this route. Refer to the screenshot attached, visit their website and write to their official email to get started. Cheers! 4 Likes 1 Share

ireneayeni: IOM and Qlife are two places you can do medicals, the appointments are usually booked for up to 5 weeks ahead so the earlier you book the better. Since you’ve gotten ITA you should book asap. You can book on their websites. I’m not sure you’re allowed to claim points for FSW using your mom’s uncle, please read well on the topic b4 you proceed. |

Afolavid:You’re actually wrong to put that on a public forum like this. Proudly passing off a month course as a one year course. Even if we know sometimes some people have their ways around these things, it’s not to be mentioned in a public forum. Not a good outlook on us as Nigerians. It’d be nice if you take that down 7 Likes |

Dennyjuff: Sometimes, we Nigerians overdo things, even when we chicken, we chicken out amazingly, that explains why we rarely see JR from Nigerians even when we've submitted the near perfect applications. Well, I was expecting comments like this but to set things straight... There's nothing wrong or worth hiding about the program, this is a legitimate program and it is a course waiver for onward progression, it has to do with waiving courses that has already been written in your previous degree (Bsc) in relation to the diploma being awarded (ND). If you meet all waiver requirements, you'll be issued the diploma for a progressive admission into the HND program, hence why is called preHND program. If you don't meet all waiver requirements, you'll be given list of courses you're to take, which you then decide to take or not to take. And the breakdown of the payment includes ND1, ND2 tuition fees, etc which you and every other student pays. So how is the program trying to game/bypass the system.? I think y'all should read on course waivers, all educational institutions offer it one way or the other. When I wrote the school, got all the details and got to know the program is legit, I was surprised why most people don't know about it earlier, it's all because of comments like this, jumping into conclusions about things without making any research. I just shared a legit and vital information for free. It'll be very useful for some people and those that doesn't find it useful. Sorry ooh! 13 Likes

Afolavid: In addition, the certificate gotten will be evaluated by WES or whatever. If they pass it as having met the requirements, who are we to assume otherwise? So there isn't any "gaming the system here". Thank you for the info. I suggest this be linked to the first page. 3 Likes |

This happened to me. I got married march and added spouse in June 2021 and my own medicals changed from passed to processing as well. His was also never acknowledged till date despite numerous webforms and resending the e-medical sheet. Since mine (PA) has since expired in November, we decided to redo our medicals together so it'll get uploaded at once.. My opinion is that somehow nobody bothered to actually pass the medicals when spouse was added and dumped the file somewhere. Your VO is probably Accra as well. My advise, book upfront medicals and redo together. Based on current trends, applications with valid medicals of at least 6months and above are getting picked up. Sidenote: Did you guys order gcms notes at any point...You can email me lets compare situations if you like Mola02: 1 Like |

ireneayeni: Any relative other than your sibling or sibling of your spouse/common law partner, adds nothing to your CRS but it could add 5 points to your eligibility score: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/eligibility/federal-skilled-workers/six-selection-factors-federal-skilled-workers.html You, or your spouse or common-law partner, can benefit from eligibility points if the relative is: *living in Canada *18 years or older *a Canadian citizen or permanent resident *parent or *grandparent or *child or *grandchild or *your or your spouse’s sibling (child of your or your spouse’s parent) or *your or your spouse’s aunt or uncle (by blood or marriage) or *your or your spouse’s niece or nephew (grandchild of your or your spouse’s parent) or If the relative is your uncle - you get 5 eligibility points, zero CRS points......provide docs to show you are indeed his relative and that he meets the conditions above, usually his passport (shows his age and citizenship) and birth certificates for you, your mum and your uncle to show the family link/line should suffice. If the relative is your mother's uncle - there is nothing to provide as he is not an acceptable relative for IRCC's PR purposes. Unless you used this relative to get a nomination from a province e.g. Manitoba/Sask. If so, the the PNP would have stated clearly what documents to provide, which you must have provided which eventually got you a NOI and 600points towards your CRS for ITA. I wouldn't think you need to provide these documents as part of your Federal (IRCC) PR application. 1 Like |

Smithsonian12: if your VO is based outside Canada, they will not be able to provide any information to you. If it's within Canada, they will provide details. With Fongo, patience should be your watchword. I've had the call hang up once the agent picks up. This happened multiple times before i got through on a random day. 1 Like |
