Good evening everyone. I recently got a Bruhm 1hp non-inverter A.C. I had an electrician connect it directly to the wire that came from the feeder pole. It works, but I feel its performance is not up to par with other brands.

My room is a medium self contain. I have the Temp at 17, and Fan speed at high, but it doesn't get chilly.

PS: I'm not using a voltage regulator, is there anything I can do to improve it performance or BRUHM are not good makers of A.C?

Try and use stabilizer. Maybe your area light voltage is low .

You will be impressed with the performance after adding a good stabilizer (3kVA and above).

Thank you guys. I'm considering a wall mount voltage regulator. It's midnight now and I checked my voltage and it's around 190 - 200v, so I guess that's the culprit..

I'll look into getting one, didn't budget it at all.. I'll see if i can get a used one on jiji. Although I don't like used items..

go to clearance sale thread in the family section. You can get one there and also ask to use escrow with Wese90 so you'll ascertain it's working before he releases the money.

I'll monitor the process and hope the AC chills better now, especially when the weather is very hot outside, 2 - 4pm.

maybe some marketing gimmicks, but it states on the manual that it supports and works well with 1hp - 1.5hp A.C

5KVA would have been the best from experience.

hey guys, My AC Chills better now and faster. the AVR was not a bad investment. even my guys noticed the upgraded coolness in my room. i think it is safe to say Bruhm is a good brand.

It is not must it must be Daewoo. Just get any European fairly used . You can take an AC guy

Oops. I was hoping not to read this when scrolling down. That AC is useless. Stopped cooling effectively after using it for about a month, even though I use a central stabiliser
