Yesterday after closing from work a co-teacher and i were just walking home together...i didn't know what came over me i then asked her what she would do with her salary...she hesistated at first before she told me she would use half to circumcise her son,i was so shocked and angry at the same time because he is 9 months old...why did it take her so long?and why didn't she speak up?i had to calm down a bit and asked her this questions she didn't say anything instead she was argueing with me and telling me her pastor's wife will help her and that they would inject the baby with painkillers...i am really feeling for the baby,and i am also scared that he might not survive it because of the pain and the mom isn't financially buoyant her salary is 10k for now...i know i also don't have enough but i would have helped her if she had told me ealier,please what do you think make people not to talk about their problem?

Circumcision are of God's Covenant with those who have the blood of Jacob flowing through their veins, and not for those who are called of Jesus Christ, so her choice has absolutely nothing to do with that commanded by God anyways.

She said her pastor's wife will help her. Don't be surprised to find out it's her 'church' people that gave her a spiritual message to wait till now.

The Old Covenant stipulates that circumcision take place 8 days after birth, so I am not certain in that case why she failed to do that and what use it would be at this point.

If the woman suspects the child's sickness has something to do with her not having circumcised her, then it is your turn to share with her the truth which is that Gentiles do not need to circumcised their children and God is not a liar.

She should allow her son to grow up and decide for or against circumcision on his own as an adult. It is a surgical procedure which he can get anytime he is ready and under those circumstances, the procedure is well handled as opposed the delicate situation that that hers now.

If done by a trained specialist, the procedure should go well. Circumcision can be medically done at any age though doing it on a baby less than 1-year-old reduces possible complications because they can do with sedation other than anesthesia

I am telling you,and to top it all up the kids are so rude and their parents complain a lot...minus everyday feeding oh sometimes i just weak,anyways wetin man go do?

It is very simple surgery with 7-10 days recovery time, and usually outpatient so he won't have to stay in hospital to recover afterwards.
