Omisore was a senator during PDP era, he was actually nominated and elected while he was still in detention during his trial. He was eventually aquited and discharged during PDP era.
He was in PDP during run up to the last gubernatorial election in Osun state but decamped to SDP and became the governorship candidate. Nobody seriously called him out during those period. But he became a pariah of a sort the moment he joined APC and got nominated as the national secretary.
It shows you are good man no matter what may have happened until you join APC. That's the point you are seeing as been in the devil's camp. It happened when PDP was the ruling party, so is not strange now that APC is the ruling party. Take Oyo state as an example. Those who are government enforcer masquerading as park managers are killers of yesterday who still continue to kill till today. But they are good to go because they belong to the ruling party in the state.
