I recently renewed my passport, in my new passport the old passport number was also written under the new passport number.

Ah I see. I must have done a "re-issue" (> 6 months) instead of renewal when I did mine some years ago as the passports carry different numbers.

So I guess I was on the right track as it said i had an account already, and when I signed in, it showed me my uncompleted application.

I will suggest you send web forms (case specific enquiry) directly to Nairobi Visa Office. I sent a few after my mum's application crossed six weeks. I wouldn't say for sure that the enquiries helped, but they might have triggered IRCC to look at the application.

Yes, I applied with the new portal. Do you also have a valid US visa or expired Canadian visa? I think those are the basis to qualify for the Can+. Visa are quickly processed with the Can+

Walk into any DHL or UPS store, you can google & check for the one's near you.

This is the Address you will mail your documents to:

Yes, you have to pay.The last I did,Paid 10k, though the fee is a little lower, but because people where quoting different figures, had to round the figure.If you pay below, your envelope will be sent back to you.

Hello house, I’m a silent follower of the trend, what happened is that I want to travel to Canada on visitor visa, I have a friend who’s there and he’s now a citizen, has a trucking company over there and has gotten his Canadian passport, I’m just about to get married this coming June 18 as you can well wish me well on that, I don’t really have a good paying job like that, I own a little salon which is not registered, now me and my friend has talked things I told him I want to come to Canada, all for better life, how can I go about this, what’re the document I’ll be needing and cos he wanted me to make a research on it so he can get it started and maybe if luck find me, I’ll be able to travel after the wedding, and right now I don’t have a marriage certificate to back this up and how can I sure confuse them that I’ll come back,,,, matter of fact I’m going over there to look for a greener pasture and I’m not really sure I’ll be coming back to Nigeria anytime soon,... I have no idea at all, what can I do please... and for the statement of account, can I both statement of account, (mine and his own) ? And do I need to make sure I get the marriage certificate to back the processing up ?
