Yes people do repent from their old ways but your entitlement on this thread is on another level.

Almost everyone is a hustler on this thread so don't think your pity card will work forever even if it had previously worked for you.

I ran through jiji and saw one with 3.2m asking price. If the expected increase in custom duties happens, I hope 4m will be enough to buy a corolla.

Maybe there's a silver lining in all of these for existing drivers. "New" cars coming into ehailing will reduce and a lot of partners will sell off their cars. Since they can sell their corollas for 3.4m Nigerian used, what's the sense in leaving it on Bolt to collect 30k weekly.

Less cars on ehailing, the more the demand and the more the surge.

Lols...which year will naija used Corolla be worth 3.4m? Many many years to come
If toos Corolla is too expensive, people will just buy other types of cars, Corolla is not the only car that can be used for ehailing. So it's not an advantage in any way.
Moreover if u sell ur Corolla 1.7m like Felicity advertised, will it not be enough to buy 2 Civics like Tojah advertised? That's two cars in the place of one. So as people do away with their Corollas it's more cars coming into ehailing. That's what I think

Good afternoon all.
Please I will like to know the documents needed for Uber in Lagos? Thank you

Godfather10:

This thing you guys keep doing is unfair. You deliberately discourage new drivers trying to come into this business with false and discouraging info about bolt and uber platforms. It's just too bad. You won't leave the business but you complain about commission being too much everyday. When I was gonna start the business last year, a lot of these comments almost pushed me out of the business. But today I can say that I am grateful that I didn't listen to all those trash. This is the only job I have for now and I am doing absolutely well for myself and family. Same as many other drivers out here. Please let's learn to be our brother's keepers. The sky is wide enough for all the birds to fly

Thanks

Went to eat at that calabar kitchen on Emmanuel street Ogudu... Came out to see that a Police car had parked behind my car, there by preventing me from driving out and I don get request.

So I walked up to the two police men that was inside the car to let them know that I was leaving. The two of them started going up and down.
Emmm.. the car key is with their oga... he is eating. I told them to Please collect the car key and move the car so that I can leave.

One of them now summoned courage and said, no vex abeg, two of us wey u see here no sabi drive. I almost burst laugh but I maintain. Las las them go collect the car key, na me come help them move the car.

I was dumbfounded say a whole police officer cannot move a car just from one block to the next block. What if in a case of emergency where by the one driving was hit by a bullet and they are in hot pursuit of a criminal ? Na him be say na to call control room to send somebody wey sabi drive.
u sef dey chop for that place grin

The first mistake this driver made was that he still agreed to continue on the trip when he was clearly aware the dude was trying to buy drugs.

Immediately i notice any rider with drugs, am not going on such trip. I picked two or three young lads from abule egba, they were going to new castle anthony. I overheard them speaking about who is going to hold the drug they had in their possession (Colorado).

We don dey move already, as we reach ile epo i stopped at a filling station and cancelled the trip. Cos police no go wan hear story and these guys fit go hide the substance inside my vehicle.

Now wey ndlea dey beast mode, person go chop beans tire if they see loud in your car.

I just drove on bolt for the first time today. How do I know the price for the trips I accepted? I found out that I only get to know the trip fare at the end of the trip. ?

And again, I found out that some customers lie about it. Like today, I asked someone how much was shown on the app, he said 1000. I asked him to pay 1500 he agreed, on getting to the destination, I ended the trip and found out that the correct fare was 1400.

Well congrats and welcome on board pilot.

You don’t get to see the fare until you’re about to end the trip by swiping end trip.

What the app shows the rider is sometimes different from what you see. When the rider wants to book the ride they get estimate of the fare which might vary depending on how the journey goes. Traffic, routes taken etc.

You shouldn’t ask rider to pay a certain amount, the app has it’s meter that would calculate the fare at the end of the trip. That is what you should collect from rider.

More experienced drivers would correct me if i’m wrong.

Abeg, be like say I don't know what's going on. I'm kinda confused.
Why is it that there are more Toyota Camry than Corolla from people who wan give rental?
I've got like 2 more people around me now, na this Camry 03/04 all of them get. Please is there anything that has changed, my bosses in the house?

Cheaper to acquire and cheaper to maintain but fuel economy is more as it comes with a 2.4L and the V6 with 3.0L. A good Camry will stand the taste of time. The AC na diegrin more leg space.

I ask them to pay because I found out that fare prices are considerably small and fuel is now expensive

Yes they are small and like they say, raindrops make an ocean, you will also get your N100k at the end of the week ONLY when you work hard especially when there is no surge.
