1. Atiku is not a nobody, he has a strong structure as the anchor man for late Yar'adua senior's PDM with strong network across Nigeria right from the 90s and they are the strongest of the interest groups that formed PDP. I'm talking real grassroot politicians, not online commentators.
2. You don't need to like him, they support him because his candidature supports their selfish personal/group interest. Real life politics is not based on activism or emotions.
3. You are right, the primaries is not the general elections. Atiku is a king of primaries and if the stars align he wins the general election. Same thing happened with Buhari.
4. They are not going to wreck PDP. Whatever you see today with Atiku is what PDP has always been from Day 1. PDP is even better today after their eyes cleared in 2015.
5. Peter Obi best bet in which country? Please analyze politics with clear eyes and not passion based on your immediate environment. Peter Obi adds no value because what he brings to the table is what they have always had, the SE votes. Who are his trusted allies across Nigeria? Give him the ticket and outside of the SE and SS, PDP will start competing with those INEC registered parties with no office building and with funny acronyms
