Hi.. please I need help on which to go for... I got admission from University of Stirling and Bangor University but from my research I saw that accommodation in Bangor is more cheaper. Please I would love it if anyone could advise me on which to go for in terms of job prospect, environment and which is better in general? Thanks a lot.

Yes I would have. If you prefer to stick with one no problem but don't condemn someone Thanks.

So if application fee were £100/school you'd gladly spend £500 which is almost 400k in black market rate for 5 schools.
How will you pay it?
Via Naija debit card.
Via Form A or
Via someone in the UK.

Maybe they should introduce application fee.

Humour me Nigerian.

Edinburgh is a very beautiful city and there are many job opportunities for students. The only down side with the city is the harsh scottish cold (if you don't like cold, it can be depressing) and the cost of living in Edinburgh is also really high compared to most cities.

Thanks for the insight.

Don't worry, those are my areas of experience. And when it comes to applying for admission, it's advisable to apply to about 5 universities so you don't get disappointed.
Ok bro how you achieve the your aim and objectives.

Newcastle and Cranfield are very good schools. Newcastle is a reputable Russell group university and it's also in a big city so finding student jobs will be easy for you. Cranfield has a highly ranked business school (if you're going for a business course).
If fast employability after graduation is your goal, go for the 2 schools i mentioned. If you don't care about school ranking & post-graduation employment prospects, then you can go to the other two schools. But also remember that Uni of greenwich is situated in London & it's a VERY expensive city to live in especially as a student.

Thanks so much and chidextec too.

My concern really is the tuition. How do I manage that with about 6m liquid cash?

A friend also told me of northrubria uni in Newcastle.

And where in UK would you suggest?

The only thing expensive in Edinburgh is accommodation.

Your CAS contains your start and end date, etc, so you should defer before CAS, considering all other factors.
The school should even advise you to defer to the next intake available if they feel you can't meet up with visa. Some schools will literally "force" you into deferring. With your start date being so close, you might likely get deferred or advised to. Communicate with the school on a regular basis to see if you can get CAS this week, I recently got Visa decision from Ikeja tls within 2weeks.

When can one defer admission? Can it be done before CAS or after CAS?

Course starts May 9, I have paid deposit but yet to get CAS so I am looking at the time between the course start date and the CAS issuance and the visa application.

Please, what do you guys suggest? Defer to September or wait for CAS and pray for speedy visa issuance to meet up with May 9?

Hello,

I disagree at the bolded, every Uni has a payment plan including Coventry.
If people pay as they are able to,most universities will shutdown.
Anyway, here is a screenshot to guide

Cheers

[/b]

Yeah

That is the payment plan on paper and in emails I received too.

But I just said what I DID. I graduated few days ago.

If you keep paying your tuition consistently each month as you raise funds, you will still make it through school.

My classmate - a close friend did not graduate because she had pending funds to clear.

A couple of schools in the west midlands allows this though not on paper.

Work hard and study hard-Yes you can.

Please go ahead to submit your application without your transcript. I got an admission there without submitting a transcript and it wasn't requested for in my conditional offer

But you will need the transcript when submitting your visa application right?

Hello bro. Please, when did you apply? I applied last month, I'm yet to hear from them. Also, do you know if they take forever to send CAS after tuition deposit payments?

Don’t mind bro..Some people like giving false information of what they know not all in the name of I too know , they purposely do this to create fear and they sound as if they are God. I will share a screenshot of a nairalander testimony who got his visa less than 6 months on his passport
it is scary. The way they’ll give false information with so much alacrity. Like .
My only advice if the passport is about to expire, continue using it for your visa application and all whilst working behind for another one. Once the visa is out on the about to expire one and possibly the new one is also ready, then you join the two passports and travel. This is what is done.
For those not able to meet up, you can do the passport in UK. Just make sure you do NIN in Nigeria as it is free. In the UK, you will be charged 40 pounds for it minus passport cost. So it’s cost effective to save that.

Congratulations,

Coventry is flexible but it's not forever, I still keep in touch with staff working in the International Office from time to time.

The good thing is that you were smart enough to keep paying before the next instalment so you hit the target

Some people will literally take paying small small verbatim and it doesn't work that way that's why I disagreed

Anyway Congratulations on your graduation. Hope you enjoyed the school like i did in 2019.

Cheers

Hello all, please I need suggestions. I applied for an msc biotechnology and I have gotten the following admission from schools
London metropolitan- 2£ discount

My best bet now will be Wales because of the fee,I want input from anyone living/schooling in Aberystwyth. I am really confused.
I am still waiting for feedback from 3 or more schools tho. But let me just know about schooling in Wales, students jobs and living with a family.

Please stop exaggerating, the highest application fee you can pay is £75 and that's even charged by the University of oxford.
The last school I applied to is the University of Nottingham and I paid £ 50 for the application (go check their website or Google it). The fact that you can't pay for an application fee doesn't mean others can't. Remember this, Not everyone on this platform is a hustler.

Good morning.

SOS

Has anyone here gone through the Administrative review process for UK student dependant from >>successful Administrative review to >>Visa granted

Please help with information. Your experience is needed.

There are a lot of people here with successful AR that have been kept hanging by UKVI. No communication, no idea what is going on and how long we should wait.

All paid emails and paid calls have yielded nothing.

Please help

Kind regards
