My younger brother submitted his application for a student visa in Abuja on the 15th of February but we are still yet to get any response, It has been almost 8 weeks, and I don't know how long we will have to wait again cause the school resumed mid-March.

Are there any emails or phone numbers we can use to contact the commission?

First thing south Africa need to see is that you have a sufficient funds through a genuine source and valid hotel reservation booking and itinerary and a self introduction letter.

No Sir. My wife didn't have to submit her bank statement neither was there need to certify the documents cos they had to be scanned copies of the originals.

Please house, how long will it take for one to get his/her passport back if one decide to withdraw his/her application? Someone applied for S.A visa last month and now have an urgent need to apply to a European Country. How long do you think it will take the S.A embassy to release the passport?

Yes of course, you can check VFS website how to withdraw application without going to VFS office you will get the foam on the vfs website and fill it and then send it to vfs email they will send you the passport if you pay for shipping already.

Dear Sir/Madam,
If the applicant wishes to withdraw his/her application after the submission of the application at VFS Centers in Nigeria, below are the requirements.
A withdrawal form is required to be filled. This can be collected from the VFS Centre or you can click here to download it.
A covering letter mentioning the reason for the withdrawal.
A VFS ICR copy, a copy of international passports bio –page.
All the above documents are required to be submitted at the South African Visa Application Centre in Nigeria between 8.00am to 3.00pm Monday to Friday (except on holidays declared by the High Commission or Federal Government of Nigeria) or sent via email to - info.zang@vfshelpline.com
Kindly Note:
The withdrawal of application will take minimum 3 working days or might take a longer duration as per the discretion of the Consulate/High Commission
The Visa fees and VFS service fees are non- refundable.
The withdrawal form is required to be submitted at the respective Centre where the application was submitted or sent via email to - info.zang@vfshelpline.com

I am a PR holder and there is a question there that say does yor spouse hold a temporary resident visa? �
