Well I think price hike is justified base on the increments on petroleum products.. I never knew they had a Union.. Everything in Nigeria must always have a union.. Waiting to hear that bandits also have a body regulating their operations 1 Like |

nairaman66:the increase can be done in 2 ways. It is either these platforms decrease their expected commission from 25%, or increase the fares by 5-10%….. The former is much more realistic 1 Like |

Hedonini:Uber riders went on strike too sometime ago in UK. It’s not exclusive to Nigerian e-hailing taxi’s. Try and appreciate that people turn away their eyes from crime and do dignified jobs and that the services rendered does not mean you shouldn’t demand for reviews when need be. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

foolbuster:People like you (and not Buhari or APC) are the problem with Nigeria. People are desperate does not mean they should be exploited! If what you just posted makes any iota of sense, then there will be absolutely no labour laws in or minimum wages in developed countries as every employer will treat and pay their employees anyhow and argue that anyone that doesn't like it should quit. I argued today with a Nigerian youth like you who was trying to defend Chinese and Indian factory owners who make poor, desperate and helpless employees to work 12 hrs for between #30000 - #50000 monthly. I ask you the same question I asked him; if we see nothing wrong with the status quo, how do we start insisting it should be corrected? 6 Likes 1 Share |

What kind of coalition is this, if the business is not paying you, stop it and do something else. They gave you a platform and now you are saying the platform doesn’t pay you, then switch platform. So what happens if the platform doesn’t want your business anymore, are you going to sue them. 2 Likes |
