Na so nau, worst part is all these people that talk about how there's money in the business don't drive or are all part time drivers.
Funny

Nah where I stop to they argue be that. Someone that is yet to take a trip will have experience more than someone that has completed over 3k riders +/-.

If things connect as we plan, am I not supposed to have been conferred with 2 chieftaincy title in my village by now?

You have to accept all request even if you have no intention of completing them, then arrive and wait for 3 minutes then cancel.
That way it won't affect your acceptance rate and activity scores, I for like give you another tip but no be everything we go share online.

I try as much as possible to accept all trip and cancel with 'passenger ask to cancel'... My only fear is that doing so shoots up the Client Did Not Show Up % which may also eventually lead to blocking hence I want to know how to balance it and I don't want riders to cancel.

You'll get better with time. Take it one day at a time. Don't be pressurized.

Whatever you do, avoid ONE-WAY. (VI, Somolu/Yaba, Mushin, Lagos Island....etc)

Always tell your riders you are new, majority will be willing to assist you.

Target long trips, have your rider app handy so you can always check the riders destination to know two things; the possible fare and location where you are going to.

May the force of the land be with you.

Remember, you will still pay your dues to Lagos officials on the road, my prayer is that it's not a costly one.

Welcome onboard senor

E different by far
When you're cruising you drive anyhow you want without pressure and listen to any music you want at your preferred volume. Then you're usually going to a place where you already know the people you want to go and meet and what you want to go and do so the excitement is always there.

Thanks for the encouragement, boss.
My fear is actually the bolded. Cos I know some old-timers self still dey pay dues, sure my time might come. grin
Appreciate your encouragement.

But I have one serious issue with the inbuilt map to rider location. How will I be driving forward and my car on the bolt map is moving backwards? sad
This really confused me, cos I expected my car icon on the map to be going froward just like when you're using the G-map. I don't think I can use the bolt inbuilt map ooh. Please make una teach me how to use it. I prefer the Google map format. Or is there a setting or bolt that will direct my car icon forward, instead of backwards?
Please make una educate me, abeg.

You can actually change your default map on bolt app to Gmap, you can do same on uber app.
Can't access my apps ATM but ask people in the house to guide you how.

Please, dont be shy to ask people around when you're confused a road is one way or not. Make it a habit to ask your riders if they prefer Gmap or they are ready to guide you on their preferred routes, many of them will opt for Gmap, but nevertheless, ask them.

Good luck

You have to learn to combine both....Bolt map is best for Pick Up,”, especially street to street” Google map might send you the wrong way or longer way for PU... hope you have a good phone with a large RAM if not Google map fit lost you when e Dey find signal,,, happened to me when I just started and was using one techno like that especially while going to the island , I will miss the TBS drop due to slow signal

grin so you are a Muslim faithful... Bro this is a wrong time to pick up a rental menh! How do you intend meeting up? Even a fellow Muslim brother was thinking of renting his car for this period you think he doesn't know what he was doing?
I'd advised you return that car the focus in spirituality to come back after the fasting period.

No go jam person oh nobody go hear say na fasting u dey ooh.

Besides, business is usually slow these period.

Accept, start ride and end after driving 1 or 2km distance. Report the trip after 4hrs as rider didn't pay

Make them also dey block riders since bolt thinks they're mad let's all be mad as well.

Do this and have peace of mind.
