This is actually something government should be building in every nook and cranny. In Mauritius, almost every 4 streets has a standard pitch with flood lights. I enjoyed playing football when i was in that country. The Imo state government and as well as other SE governors should build this mini pitch everywhere in order to arrest youth restiveness.

Yeah I support your idea, including basketball, volleyball court, which is way cheaper to build and maintain

The world will continue to demand clean energy. So, since Imo State has natural gas in abundance, I think Hope Uzodinma should be having a conversation with Buhari so he can influence the NLNG to site its plant in Imo State.

The immediate need of the SE region and Nigeria in general is to create good jobs for the teeming youths. When I say jobs, I don't mean jobs that pay 30k like N-Power. This corporation will attract smaller oil services and logistic firms to move to Imo State in order to provide their services to it. Well, building sporting facilities is a good move, but Imo State and the SE region need investments that will turn around its fortune.

If Hope Uzodinma cannot influence Buhari, who is the leader of their party and current petroleum minister, to talk to the GMD of the NNPC for him to get NLNG to consider tapping the gas in the state, I don't know the essence of being in a party that controls the government at the centre.

I read about a report about NNPC in conjunction with Seplat to establish a condensate refinery in imo state, after completing the seplat gas projects

Where did you remotely pick up the crap in bold letters? My previous never suggested in any manner that people are no longer using bamboo as scaffold.

I would have preferred a Lagos state estate prototype, Hope Uzodinma is about to kick start imo state massive housing development, though not concentrated at a particular location but scattered to different locations in a mini estate format.

Why are they still wasting land building such detached bungalows? Like seriously? Can't they build blocks of 3 & 4 stories instead? Who says they can't sell the buildings like that or even as flats?

I find such bungalows disgusting!

There's this FG estate opposite FUTO road just after Obinze junction. I went there by January to check on some plots of land there to know whether it's time to start developing. Its owner by maybe mortgage bank or what

I was actually advised to hold on a bit for them to allow them complete the estate. Two estates in that axis actually, one is privately owned while the other is government owned. The government owned has different building styles in it, from bungalows to duplex, it was very beautiful even though it had not been painted yet.

I love the fact the estates are scattered in various locations and are all kind of outside main Owerri town. It is bringing rapid development to those axis.

Side note: There is a state owned higher institution along Obinze-Portharcourt road. Last time I was there, it was an eyesore, dilapidated buildings, very dirty environment among others. Please, what is the name of that institution and hope Hope is looking into that place? The area was just too bad abeg

The construction of a brand new dual carriage highway has commenced, it runs from Assa to Awara to Ohuba then to Avu Junction.
This road will give an express access to gas plant and refinery projects situated at Ohaji Egbema LGA
What are the gas plants located there?

This is purely an estate, wonder why it's being tagged as a city.
