President Hakainde Hichilema of Zambia has gone eight months since his election without a pay, claiming it was not his motivation to seek public office. This is really commendable guys, no Nigerian politician will forfeit his or her salary for just one month, they will even siphon more within the period to pay godfathers and people they owe How do we make public office less attractive in Nigeria? It's unfortunate that we have leaders who have not look at that way to make political office less financially lucrative to allow those who would serve us guinuily been elected. This is why those who would have invested their money to further develop this country would rather invest in politics during electrial period of three months and after the election the person begin to milk Nigeria for the next eight years. As it is today political party comprised mostly old men and governors are holding Nigeria Ramson, they pucket state houses of assembly and decides who is is elected as national assessment members, it's really unfortunate some of them with various criminal records are amongst them. We just hope that one day God decides what is best for this country. |

God1000:Great..I am glad you are reasonable enough to take responsibility unlike those other ones on here who still blame the west while their leader keep milking them dry on a daily basis.. 3 Likes 2 Shares |
