Alright,Yes your response helped .I applied about four days ago. I intend on choosing this school. Please when you get the info on installment please let me know, thanks much

I decided to send them an email and received the response below - To be honest, I'm pretty impressed they responded quickly.

I guess this info helps other potential University of Sussex students as its not available in any documentation or weblink they provide. smiley

I am having issues signing up on their portal. Saying my BVN is invalid. Please who is going through the same issue?

You need to update your email address in your bvn. Go to the bank you registered your bvn and fill out a bvn update form. Write your active email address for uodate. It can be any of the branches of the bank.

I am sorry for the late reply, you need to get in touch with your school, for May intakes, you do not have much time on your hand.

Thanks. I have emailed them

I’m abit late seeing this post, I chose the electronic transfer option when filling the application which I submitted a week ago, however I haven’t been debited. Should I move the money out of my account and create a new application or what can I do. This is urgent please

Which bank? Please call the customer care and tell them you have a 2days deadline to meet up with.

You should have chosen Telex so call them and tell them the option you chose so they can confirm if that is also okay.

Always call the bank and disturb them so they can move your application to priority.

Lol! My school fees for MBA is £35k. It's one of the best business schools in the UK. My friend that is in Oxford University is paying about £65k for her MBA. The career prospects and connections for going to a top UK school is worth it and top companies like Apple, Google, Amazon etc like recruiting directly from those schools. That's why we don't mind the fees because the salary benefits after graduation is enormous (including the calibre of people we will have in our class which will lead to strong industry connections).

MBA has never been cheaper anywhere, even in Nigeria, the logic behind it is that they assume you have been at a job,you only need it to move up the ladder.
Mind you no be everyone is that lucky, a friend had one at Heriot Wyatt, what he does now is different o.

I called them they said it takes 6 to 8 weeks to respond
I think what must university does is that they look at certain amount of numbers to treat at once and upload it together , so be patient it will come , meanwhile apply for more schools.

MBAs are generally expensive and the fees go up each year. I remember that my MBA cost £21,400 when I did it and now up to 24k while another MBA that I checked then was 30k now at 40k.

You have to be able to build your network and gain relevant experience while being able to sell yoursell effectively. This will help you easily slide into quality roles.

Awesome! Thank you for the insight.

Viewoliver:
That means your Form A application wasn't reviewed by your bank before approval for disbursement. It would have been rejected and the mistake could have been pointed out for correction. Mine was rejected up to 3 times until I got it all right. It is always "Telex" to be selected there in as much as you are paying tuition fees.

Yeah, I understand you. Although, Herriott Watt is not highly regarded in the UK for business/MBA. Anyone going to business school should use Financial Times because their criteria for ranking is the best and is the one used by top companies in the world. Once again, the best companies recruit directly from these schools so if ones profile is strong enough, they can be able to scale into the companies.
